Martin Poland: Bought this pump to pump water out of a 55 gallon drum into out camper when were dry camping. Works great and if the pump fails in the camper I have this to replace it with.

RyanKarlaRyanKarla: I installed this in a home-built camper van kitchen sink. They’re easy and simple to install and they work as expected. They give you the same water flow and pressure that you would expect from a faucet in your home. Combine it with an accumulator tank (and in my case, an under-sink filter) and you’ll have perfect water service.
I will say I had to replace the first one because I left it in the van over the winter and I suspect something in it froze and broke. When I went to use the sink in the spring I couldn’t get any water. I ordered the exact same thing and swapped it out and never had any issues with either one aside from the freezing issue, which I should have thought of when winterizing the van, so we’ll call that my own fault, not the pumps. I think I’ll just remove it from the van this winter and store it in the house since this pump is pretty much my entire plumbing system and I don’t use antifreeze products like an RV would.
They are a bit on the loud side when running, so you may want to install them in an insulated area.

kim: Runs my whole house off grid, with water catchement, and still running great for 7 years! I am single though, a family might kill it fast, and I have a big pressure tank, so pumps last longer. Good quality pump!

k.b.: I just installed this pump on my Sports Cool Water Tank after the original one I had stopped working after 13 years of pretty heavy use at football games. After installing this one I immediately noticed how quite it was yet seems to generate more power. In 13 years you do expect some refinements and improvements and I can tell that is what was done with this unit. I hope I can get at least 13 years out of this unit as well.

GT Dude: I got this water pump for my camper trailer to replace the one that was burnt.

It is very easy to install as all the fittings from the trailer is the same on this pump. But it is not as quite as I was hoping or as the one one I replaced.

Because of this I gave it a 4 star rating otherwise it works just as good as the original and the water flow in the trailer is very good.

Z.Sun: Works well for off-grid use when it works. The pressure switch on this does not last however and has needed replacement a couple times now. You can get the switches for cheap from electronic parts suppliers and they aren't hard to replace, but it is annoying to have to do. Expect to replace the switch after about 10 months or so. You can also buy the switch as an assembled part of the pump head if you want to replace more than just the switch. The motor end has lasted 2 years and I might still be able to get some more service out of it. At least you can get replacement parts for the Shurflo pumps and repairs are pretty simple.

Amazon Customer: Replacement for a jabsco, using it on/off grid, cabin water system. Quieter than the jabsc., The threaded inlet/outlet are odd thread sizes, could not find a suitable matching piece to port to 5/8 tubing, ended up at the boat chandler, got some 1/2" nptf x 5/8 hose nipple & used hq sealer on the pump's thread to make up for the slack. There was no mention of what thread this pump used, very close to taper pipe thread, could be straight pipe. The jabsco had a few nipples included, felt shur-flo could have supplied something to get one going asap. The pressure range on mine was 25/45 psi, verified with 150$ tire pressure gauge on pressure tank. I thought it might not keep up with my small electric pressure washer, although see held up, not sure if their flow ratings were a wee tad over what the pump will do, and that was at a reliable 13.50volt supply. Runs the marine shower head, kitchen sink, garden hose & the P. washer, though never tried more than one at a time, still quiet unit after 3 months daily use, no probs on 5' lift. Cheers
