Excellent value for the money. I have had this unit for aa little more than a week and In my opinion It purifies air just as well as more expensive units , the filters last longer and are cheaper than other models. These features combined with the integrated humidifier makes this unit an excellent choice. Since I have had it my daily morning coughing fits have stopped.

I have bought many different humidifiers, including ultrasonic, large and small, with and without filters. I have bought many different ozonators. I have used many essential oil diffusers. I usually get sick within a few days of travel because of the dry stale impure air. I used to have an immediate reaction to mold; many hotel rooms have mold. Many homes on the ocean have areas that are musty. I stayed in a house on the ocean that had one of these humidifier/purifiers and left as healthy as I arrived. For the first time when traveling, I had no sore dry throat, coughing, plugged nose, headache and all the other symptoms that go along with dry unclean air. I bought one of these immediately for my home. What a difference in air quality!

This products has digital Hydrometer display. Easy to see Hydro level. Very silence so no problem to use if setup distance 3 meter from beside of bed. This machine keeps good condition my throat condition to avoid coughing and avoid to itch due to dry skin. Spare parts are available at Canada. Ag+ ion cartridge is effective to avoid mold corrosion in the tank and water filter. No timer function available. If it is available, this is perfect product.

As silent and efficient as advertised (check out youtube's videos. I confirm, they're for real), this is quite an impressive piece of electronic that does filter out most of the smaller particles. I have not yet tried to wash the filters, but I have used my vacuum cleaner to clean the hepa filter.
The KC860U can handle one room, but not more. I loved the first one so much that I bought a second one for the living room.
With my NEATO vacuum robot and these Air Purifiers, I hardly have to dust my rooms anymore.
The humidifier is quite a plus even though you must refill it daily, sometimes faster.
BTW, Amazon's customer service was absolutely fabulous in handling my issues with one of the Air Purifier.

It's still working just fine. I've been using it everyday since I got it. Especially winter when it's dry and cold outside. I usually have the windows and doors closed coz it's cold and the heater is on. Hence the air purified is needed plus humidifier helps me a lot at night through out my sleep. The filters are still doing great. I washed the charcoal filter ( black one) once in awhile and still work like a champ. I can't say enough how much I love this air purifier which help me to get rid of allergies and flu ( Plasma cluster kill the virus and bacteria in the air). At this point I know it sounds so cheesy but I can't live without it in the daily life. Worth the money and best gift for myself EVER.

I researched a while before finally purchasing this model. While like most other models it doesn't truly have the advertised effects on all but the highest settings it does a good job of eliminating odors and improving air quality on its Auto settings.
The filters are easy to clean, and I didn't expect to enjoy the Humidifier function as much as I do in the winter. The noise is tolerable on all but the highest setting and near silent at the lowest. The lights are bit bright, but they can be turned off partially or entirely, but not dimmed.
The quick Clean function works well. It brings the fan speed up and down in a way to quickly circulate air, but it's pretty annoying. You don't want to be watching TV or trying to sleep with that setting on. I only use it to prep a room and then turn it back to auto when I'm in the room.
There are some good reviews of these products on youtube which was very helpful and I'm confident it was the best for the money in my situation.

I bought this to deal with cat litter dust in a small apartment. I was hesitant to purchase this due to the high price and bad past experiences with other air cleaner products (noisy, poor quality) years ago, but have had good experiences with Sharp plasmacluster technology built-in to late-model Toyota/Lexus vehicles, so I decided to take a chance. The unit is very stylish (more-so than the pictures would indicate) and seems well constructed. It's assembled in China by Sharp.
The fan is very quiet on the lowest setting, which was important to me as the unit will run continuously. The electronic dust sensor is phenomenal. It really does detect dust in the air that's too small to see. I have the machine 6 feet from my cat's litter box, and within a minute of my cleaning the cat's mess from the litter box, the Sharp's sensor display changes from green to orange and then red, and the fan kicks into high gear. After a few minutes of cleaning the air, the display returns to green and the fan slows to its normal quiet speed.
