Greenote Home Air Purifier - Clean Air for Your Home Environment

Donna-Do-Right: It's a shame to have to write this review, but I don't want others to be in the same spot. I ordered this in summer 2021 for the small Airbnb rental I have in my home. In terms of the product functionality, I'd rate it pretty highly. It's nice and quiet, easy to get started with, etc. My biggest issue is that the replacement filters have been out of stock for *at least* 6 months (as of June 2022) and there is no indication that will change any time soon (not just at Amazon but at other stores, too).
I finally found some online store that has them in stock, FOR MORE THAN HALF THE COST OF THE PURIFIER ITSELF (2 for $94 WITHOUT shipping costs). I understand supply chain issues in these trying days, and I do appreciate that the company initially responds to email inquiries (because that's more than most do), but the responses don't relate to this issue ("please show videos of the product issue"?) and/or there's no follow up. Give me *some* information that tells me you're working on the issue. Or if there's another filter that will fit (my fairly extensive search on Amazon shows me that "designed for Greenote AP10" means designed ONLY for this purifier, and no one else's is...

Jk: This product is good if it works fine. I had the same issue that people had with the power on but just not running. I fixed the problem twice and it is now working again. If you are having the same issue, do not throw it away yet. Instead, try this method: Unplug and plug it. Once the power light is on, hard press (i mean it) the power button and it actually worked lol Now it just works again.

I hope I don't have to fix this again for the third time, but if the unit stops working again, I know exactly what to do now lol

SFdude: I was using a Honeywell air purifier and was sweet talked by the reviews on here for the quietness of Greenote. It is more quiet I guess, but the sound is annoying. I'd rather have my old purifier which was just the sound of air like a fan rather than a quieter sound similar to an old refrigerator running next to my bed. When I first turned it on I gave it a few shakes because I couldn't believe I was hearing the strange hum. I actually prefer to run it at the 2nd level so the air sound can cover up the machine sound. Did I get a defective product or what? It's def. not silent. Yes, there are lights on top, but nothing a little tape couldn't fix.

AZSigEpAZSigEp: The media could not be loaded.  There were so many choices when I was looking for a purifier. My issue is I had moved into a new place and the off-gassing from the cleaning and painting was so strong I was not comfortable.

I used this one in my bedroom as it is very quiet on low and medium settings so I can keep it on all day as I work from my home office. At night, using the night feature it continues to run without disrupting my sleep.

I bought this in March and it's now July as I write this. I pretty much used it non-stop for two solid months and then periodically after that. You can see in my video, the filter looks like it's not even been used despite being on for that long. This tells me that filter will certainly last and remain effective for an average user for a really long time.

It is very light and easy to move about the room as needed. I have tried it sometimes on furniture and other times on the floor and it's proven to be stable for me to use anywhere.

I am very happy with this purchase and I think you will be too. :)

Jack KellerJack Keller: I held off initially to really give this unit a month to see how it performed in my office space; I have a similar unit in the bedroom that has cut down on allergens and dust to help me sleep better at night, so it was time to have that same benefit where I spend a bulk of my day.

First off, as a full-time remote worker, I was concerned that it might introduce too much noise while working. Still, I'm often curious whether it's even on (it is, I am using the medium setting, and it's virtually silent). I tried with the highest setting, and while I notice it, it doesn't seem to be picked up by my microphone when I'm meeting with my remote teams, so that's a plus.

There is also a timer function if you only want to run it for a few hours at a time; that's a feature my other purifier doesn't have. All and all, I would recommend this to anybody who would like a bit cleaner air for small to medium-sized rooms. This unit is also straightforward to assemble.

RunRRunR: ►I got this one for my shed, summer is coming so I decided to set it up properly and because it is a workplace with a lot of dust and what is left from the wood I cut I needed something that will clean the air.

►Size and build quality of the product?
As you can see in the pictures, I would say it is medium size, I just put it in the corner and done. Has a clean design with a menu easy to operate and understand. The size of the cable is around 80cm long which is enough to plug it wherever you want.
The unit looks very elegant, size is around 50 cm in height, you can see in the picture how tall it is compared to my hand.

►Main specifications?

This one is relatively silent, only 22db(i use it most of the time on high speed to get better results).
It has 3 speeds and there is also an off timer that you can set which i found helpful. What works better for my type of work, I set it on full power while working and once I finished I set the timer and change to medium speed.

►The filter?
The HEPA filter(this one is very important) removes most of the smoke, dust, the smell of pets and speacilly the mould which in most cases is what we are...

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: The media could not be loaded.  Bought this for my 9 year old who has been suffering a little with Pollen hay fever this year.

Stuck it in his bedroom to see if it helps. The initial run was for 4 hours on "maximum" and then i turned it into night mode as he was going to bed.

The quiet "sleep" mode is whisper quiet and didn't disturb him at all, and it appears to be helping with his hay fever.

There wasn't a great deal IN the box other than the purifier and the power cable, and the instructions were clear.

The only minor insignificant point was that the description of the last "sound" is wrong, it should be a heartbeat (which I think is designed for babies).

Other than that, it does what it is supposed to do, and so far does it well!

agentfourty7agentfourty7: The media could not be loaded.  Design: Finished in Matt White this air purifier looks so sleek and simple. Love the design and size of it.

Ambience: It’s surprisingly quiet, even on the highest fan setting. Soft touch LED lit control panel is not too much of a distraction at night. The unit fits right into our current living room decor and doesn’t take much effort to be blended in.

Function: After using it for 6/8hrs in 2hrs spells at a time, I can comfortably say the quality of air has improved. I suffer from dust allergy and I could sense the difference within 15-20mins of turning it on. I’ve place mine near the end of the living room and near the landing -this way it purifies a much larger area rather easily.

Other: It came with a instructions manual, in an eco friendly packaging and with minimal installation requirements. It’s a simple plug and play mechanism.

Love the product. My first time buying something from this brand and they’ve already impressed me with product quality. I hope the replacement filters aren’t expensive or hard to find.

PaulPaul: The media could not be loaded.  I really love this air purifier. It fits really well into my home.
It has a very modern appearance, and since its white, will match any room.
It's big, but not too big, which I really like, as you know it's doing a good job, without filling up space.
I think it suitable for on the floor, or a surface. It's not overpowering.

I found it really easy to setup, I didn't even need the instructions. Just unpack it, twist to open it up to unpack the filter, then put it back together, plug it in and turn it on.

The buttons on the top are straight forward too. The touch interface is a nice modern twist. And it makes a really cute audible noise when you press, as feedback.
You can turn the fan to 3 different settings, set the timeout duration, or turn on night mode, which produces a lot less noise.
I tried the night function in my bedroom, and slept fine, but have since moved it to the kitchen as I find it really effective in there.
I'm using the 8h setting, turning it on in the morning, and letting itself go off by the evening.
It's not heavy either, if anyone is considering moving it around a lot.

Design of this air purifier is stunning 😍 and it's match to my living room style. This is what I was looking for.
Everything it's very simple to use as well. Basically just plug and play. Screen on top shows power on/off, strength of purification and night mode. You can also setup how long it should work.
It is so easy that even my 4 years old daughter have learned how to operate after 5 minutes.
Now most important is do I Feel difference? Yes 100%. After winter we can smell some weird smell in our living room. We already know that need to be fixed but until we can do that I've decided to try this air purifier. First day and already was better. Few days later it's OK and we are happier.
I can recommend this purifier to everyone.
