Bissell air320 Smart Air Purifier: HEPA and Carbon Filters for Large Room and Home Air Purification

SquintyMcGinty: Haven’t slept this well in a while. Very good at cleaning the air, very quiet, soothing, replaced my noise machine with the sound it makes, which is perfect. The MOST remarkable thing is when I was dumping out the roomba bin into the garbage, and a few minutes later, this air cleaner kicked on all the way on the other side on the living room to compensate for the additional (invisible) particulates. Yes, I now have one in my bedroom and one in my living room. I also very much like the design/style of it. Very happy. (air320)

Jmdragon: I bought this to use in the main living room area of your house. In its auto setting, operating under normal conditions (no detected pollutants) it is barely noticeable from about 15 feet away (living room couch to where it's located), but i would not recommend this to be placed beside a bed due to the operating noise level. I suppose due to it's large air filter rate it is expected.

AdeezlAdeezl: Nice air purifier that does exactly what it is supposed to do, filter and clean the air in your enclosed space. We have 3 of these, one for every floor of the house, and they definitely make a difference in air quality. The build is tight and well made, very stylish, and sturdy on the legs. It has 5 fan settings, and does not use much electricity.

We leave them on speed 2 as it seems to be a good speed for the air exchanged relative to noise and power used. On setting 5 this thing is like a jet engine, so you could clear out an area in due time. The filters are nicely made, the charcoal is packed tight, and fit snug in the unit.

I'm curious about the pm2.5 sensor as with my other Bissell air400 series, it always reads 002. So either the sensor isn't working correctly in either unit, or the air is just that clean. The winix 5500-2 unit I have does indeed change color for changes in air quality.

Overall I'm happy with the item, and will continue to use them here in the Midwest. The warranty and price support is great from Bissell in my experience. They have phone numbers, email, and even live chat for any issues that arise. These go on sale a lot, so I would...

The photo I’m attaching is of my Kidde CO and TVOC (total volatile organic compounds) Detector. I bought this because the detector kept reading high VOC levels. I have a dyson air purifier in the same room running on high, but it doesn’t have activated carbon so wasn’t helping. I put this bad boy in that room on….can you guess the day? Yep, 8/11. Low readings ever since :). It’s so good, I put my Dyson in a completely separate part of the home and the Bissell just does it’s thing alone. Very happy!!!

sheri: After lots of research i chose this air purifier because it looks like a pc of furniture. I have had it about 1 month and it has been great so far. Looks good and works great. I was concerned about the noise after reading reviews but it is Really queit on low and on the other settings it sounds like any other fan, which is to be expected. My only concern is it only puts air out from the left side of the top. I am not sure if this is how it is supposed to be or something is wrong but i am still happy with the performance. The insides are rather simple and i dont see anything that would prevent air coming out both sides but i also dont see it being a problem with it only coming out on one side. 🤷‍♀️ over all i have decided it is not an issue and affects nothing. I have seen an immediate differance in my allergies (why i purchased) and it definately cleans the air of smells quickly! I plan to buy a 2nd one for the other part of the house. I kind of want the black one but the white one is a better buy as it cleans more sq ft and on sale is cheaper!

Carolyn Botelho: This is our first air purifier, but I think it is worth it because we have three cats, so cleaning the air of their dander is key. My allergens have been greatly reduced since we started using this.

Another reason I love this is how compact it looks. The white of the outer shell of this unit easily blends in with our walls of our home, making it less noticeable.

The only time it is loud is when it is doing it's job - cleaning the air of cooking/baking smells. This is reassuring, if it didn't then you know it's time to change filters.

When people give this bad reviews, I presume they haven't installed it properly is all

FranFran: I suffer from sever dust allergies year round, and so I decided to invest in an air purifier. After two weeks of research, I decided on the Bissell. It is absolutely amazing, my allergies finally cleared up, it covers 1,000 square feet (more then double what other purifiers cover), it has 3 filters (one you never have to change - the exterior one, and the 2 filters that require changing, are only changed every 6 months or possibly longer (whenever the indicator light tells you to replace it), vs every 3 months with every other purifier. Plus be very aware, the cost of filters on most purifiers are between $75 to $150 per filter (something that unless you research the replacement filters, you would never know, and they all need to be replaced every 3 months, that would cost you a fortune!! The Bissell filters are under $30 each. The unit is well worth the initial extra money to buy. Plus the sound level, I barely hear unless I am standing directly next to it, and even then, it is a whisper. It has also reduced my dusting in my home by half!

To be honest, I bought this because of Covid and I want to make sure I keep my home safe from airborne particles. This airpurifier takes up little space beside my kitchen island and another plus is that it doesn't look like a typical air purifier. Looks very modern. It works really well in the kitchen area for when I'm cooking. Detects right away when there's particles in the air when I'm cooking and I could hear it ramp up to clear the air. This is so much more effective than my exhaust fan in the kitchen. I tried to cook one night with lots of garlic, onion, spices, etc. I turned this up to maximum for the night and the next morning, I couldn't smell the garlic around the house! For someone like me who doesn't like any scent/smell, this is a god send.

Arnel M: Had this product for almost a week now, and there has been a noticeable improvement in the air quality. Having an air purifier is a must if you keep your windows closed most of the time, and have pets like my self. I think the Air 320 is a wonderful device as you get instant feedback of your air quality with the LED dot display on the front. It also has a re-washable pre filter which is sustainable and is a good first line of defence for purifying air. I recommend this product if you're looking for a good air purifier, as well recommend this over the Air 400 because of the reusable pre filter, same features at a lower price, and ability to purify up to 1000 square feet in an hour.
