Marx P.: There is nothing better out there. Huge plus if you get the bridge to read your sensors anywhere. Please note: I highly recommend calibrating it every year, the calibration changes from my experience with 10 sensors I have. I’m still using the original I bought in 2017 just the now the calibration is not 0, it’s -8.7. The new ones calibrate closer to zero.

Lee Ward: I use this inside a guitar case to track temperature and humidity levels. It’s small, easy to set up with the downloaded app, and I have the ability to receive alerts anywhere in the house without need for the additional Wi-Fi router. It gives me piece of mind knowing the guitar is being monitored.

Daniel: I was skeptical because of the price tag- I previously used Govee thermometers, but they either broke or had stopped working intermittently. This thing is great. I use it for my chicken coop. I got the wi-fi gateway also, and now I can check their coop temp from anywhere! And that's important, because I'm in Florida and the temps are getting WAY up there. Very pleased, would absolutely recommend this product. My only suggestion would be to let you silence the temp alerts at certain times of day.

CRica: DIdn't realise how useful the data was until I bought this and the wifi gateway. Its been almost 4 months and not a day passes without me waking up to check the data. I use this to monitor my greenhouse and the data( mainly temperature and humidity) helps me to decide if I should leave door or windows open or if my fan setting during the summer is sufficient. Now with winter around the corner, the data has been invaluable as I can set the heating thermostat just enough to counter any frost as I can check from the graph, at what temperature the heating kicks in and set it accordingly so I don't waste electricity unnecessarily.

J. KimJ. Kim: Overall, I am reasonably satisfied with the entire product line, but have some significant gripes. I own one HT.wx, one HT.w, and four HT1 (Actually 3, but I'll get to it later). All connect to a G1 gateway. I like being able to get measurements from anywhere I go and overall the responsiveness is good. To some degree I can even tell what kind of activity is occurring inside a space because I can see how changes in temp and humidity correspond to certain activities, like opening the fridge door, turning on an AC, or even just having someone occupy a room. The web based dashboard (IF you have a G1 gateway! Big caveat!) is somewhat limited but useful, although if you want to see ALL of your sensors you need to use their BETA dashboard, which has been beta for far too long... But more about that below.

Right out of the box I tested all sensors except for the HT.wx with 75% and 32% humidity packs. All except one HT.1 read a few ticks high on both tests after more than 60 hours, so no problem, easily adjusted them down by less than 2%, and now they all agreed. One HT1 however always read a few percent low on the 75% test and a few points high on the 32% test. Still within 2%,...

Fred: I use this top of the range sensor in my 6 x 6 home greenhouse and sometimes put it in the garden. I have housed it in a TFA Dostman 98 sensor screen (Amazon £12) to keep direct sunlight off it. It is extremely sensitive and gives to the minute updated professional level information (VPD etc ) which satisfies my need for accurate information. The bluetooth range through glass and walls is reduced from the stated range but is for me adequate. The app is excellent. Yes, it's a bit pricey but then good kit always is.

If only they extended their product range (rain gauge, ground thermo etc) and made it thread and HomeKit compatible I would give it 6 stars. 😀

I use it alongside it a separate EVE Weather device to control an EVE Aqua water switch. This gives reading updates every 10 mins but the excellent EVE and HomeKit apps, using thread, allow good humidity (and temperature) control.

Amazon Customer: I'm using this to monitor outdoor temperature, humidity (and pressure) as part of a project to assess energy efficiency in my house. So far I'm very pleased with the device. The software loaded without problems on my iPhone, binding the Bluetooth was quick and easy, the display is clear, and the little device looks good.

It's interesting to compare against an older and significantly cheaper device doing similar things, which I purchased at about the same time, and my conclusions are that you get what you pay for and that more recent designs can be nicer to work with.

A good point for the SensorPush range is that the software allows multiple sensors to be connected, which would be handy for comparing indoor and outdoor readings without any data wrangling in Excel.

I've not had it long enough to comment on battery life, and I didn't buy a hub to enable connectivity over the internet.

I'd probably buy more devices from this range, if I needed more sensors, rather than going for a cheaper device which would likely be more trouble to get going.

Mr CJ: Reading the description of this product you have an image in your head of a unit being setup and manufactured to within the tolerances quoted for life, like the majority of Thermometers / Hygrometer.
I have a Thermometers/ Hygrometer in every room ( 7 in all ) all reading the same within a +/- digit of each other so when I got the Sensorpush HTP.xw I was expecting it to be spot on, not way out like it was. The instructions say you can Calibrate the unit using a reliable source or use the 75% One Step Calibration Kit. So I bought the Calibration Kit ( more money on top of what I have already paid ) The instructions say keep the unit at room temperature between 65F to 75F for at least 24 to 36 hours, but the temperature between 65 and 75F is a big tolerances as R/H changes as temperature rises or falls, so I cannot see how the unit is going to be so precise, its only going to be as accurate as you set it up. I Calibrated mind at a temperature of 21⁰C midd way.
The unit is of the size that would fit in a match box so I think it’s a bit pricey but there again I expect you are paying for the App as well.
To Some Up would I buy this again, no not at this price.

B. Thompson: OK- This has been a long time coming. I made sure that I operated these devices for almost 90 days before rendering an opinion- it's only fair.

I purchased my SensorPush HPT.xw device in early February this year, and installed it a few days later. I had some questions about installation and settings, so I contacted the Customer Service Dept. My questions were completely answered and I even got additional information that proved valuable. I once again contacted then for a different reason and not only did the rep remember my earlier conversation, he solved the current problem on his end without any trouble. This is 100% customer commitment - in the Amazon tradition - something you will have a difficult time finding elsewhere.

On to the device: I basically used a thick cable tie to attach the sensor to my air conditioner frame that extends onto a covered porch. This will of course, change as soon as the weather warms up! I made sure that the device was hanging in free air; would not be in direct sun; and also where it would be facing into the prevailing wind. The latter is important for accurate RH and DP readings.

Pairing it with a Bluetooth smart device was a...
