Carolina Summer: My 92 yo mom had a mild stroke and is able to bear weight but not able to walk on her own without assistance. She is only about eight steps from her bathroom but still couldn't do it on her own. We installed two of these and what a difference!! In just a matter of days, she was much stronger, was able to pull herself up and get up and off the toilet without assistance (we still stand by, just in case).

I was dubious if this would be solid or sturdy enough but my husband tried with all his might to pull one down and he's about 100 pounds heavier than her (LOL) and it stayed put. Great product, excellent value.

JAlice: I have three of these: by toilet, by bedside & in walk-in closet. They help steady me; I use them to pull myself up, or even to break a starting fall. They work & they are worth every cent. They help keep me in Independent living. The maintenance men put them up, and it took two of them to figure it out. Be sure you have someone measure floor-to-ceiling height and order the correct size.

Melomaniac06: Facile à installer, sans outil. Bien rigide et costaud une fois en place. Mais attention si vous avez une hauteur de plafond atypique. 227cm dans mon cas et impossible d'adapter la barre; il y avait toujours 5 cm de plus ou de moins. Heureusement, j'ai pu récupérer un tube sur l'autre barre, que j'avais installée dans une autre pièce à 252cm; sinon j'aurais dû renvoyer le produit. Les tubes ne se recoupent pas, ils sont profilés à chaque extrémité, pour l'emboitage.
