mmorrismmorris: The media could not be loaded.  The Sainlogic WiFi Weather Station, 10.2-inch large Display Wireless Weather Station (WS0310) display is larger and provides more information than the previous Sainlogic Professional WiFi Weather Station (FT0835-plus). Both devices have: outdoor and indoor temperature and humidity, wind speed, wind gust speed, wind direction, date, time, rain gauge, outside pressure, moon phase, and graphic forecast. The WS0310 also has: day of the week, outdoor and indoor sew point, outdoor feels like temperature, wind direction as a degree, UV index, and sunlight. The WS0310's display is easier to read, especially further away from the unit.

The outdoor sensor array is easy to install. There are multiple mounting options. That being said, the outdoor sensor array still lacks an easy way to adjust the true north of the device. The sensor array should have a pivoting base with a lock or provide some way to adjust the true north on the display. The rain gauge is not very accurate.

The setup was a breeze; I had it up and running in no time, with no hassle whatsoever. The accuracy of the readings is impressive – I've compared it with local weather reports, and it's always spot-on.

AllyAlly: The media could not be loaded.  My husband has wanted a weather station for ages and we just never got around to doing the research and buying one. I decided to surprise him with one, not for any occasion, just because I found this one and liked it. It arrived quickly and was really well packaged--it has the shaped cardboard that everything stays really well in position and won't rattle around. There are lots of manuals and set-up instructions, from a quick start guide to more in depth, so you can get going right away but then learn more about features once you're up and running. There's a really lovely viewscreen included that has great information, but there's also a simple (as in not overly complicated) app. It can link to Weather Underground so that you can have full integration and better information, which I think is really cool. Instructions to do so are clear and easy to follow. I had a brief issue with connectivity--the weather station and viewscreen communicated with each other but not the app, but support was extremely quick to reply with very helpful information and actually just restarting was sufficient, so that's on me.

bigshortbigshort: Weather station arrived in approximately week after ordered. Package was complete and everything was in order. Installation was quite simple, except wifi, which I have to tried few times to connect properly. WAP functionality to connect automatically to router is missing here. After installation I was looking for driver update which is mentioned in manual, but software drivers upgrade couldn't be found on internet, anyway I don't miss them because weather station is working well without them

pros:
- It is done well. No cheap plastic here
- a lot of information on display
- manual is quite good. Maybe missing few more words about weather prediction part of display
- price-performance is excellent

cons:
- wifi connection is not straight forward

B. M.: Gefallen hat mir die Präzision und die Qualität der Wetterstation. Die beiliegenden Schrauben sind z. B. aus Edelstahl. Das Display leuchtet permanent wenn man es mit Strom betreibt. Wenn allerdings Sonnenlicht direkt darauf scheint, ist das Ablesen etwas erschwert. Aber im Normalfall ist die Ablesbarkeit gut. Leider sind die Bezeichnungen nur auf Englisch.
Was mir etwas mehr Zeit gekostet hat, als gedacht, ist die Verbindung der Station mit dem WLAN der eigenen BASIS bzw. des eigenen ROUTERS. Aber wenn man sich genau an die deutsche Bedienungsanleitung hält, kann man die Station tatsächlich online bringen. Die manuelle Einstellung der Zeit und der sonstigen Einstellungen ist auch etwas mühsam aber dafür synchronisiert sich die Basis automatisch, wenn man es zuerst eingestellt hat und dann eine Verbindung mit dem Internet bzw. WLAN herstellt. Da ich schon eine andere Wetter-Station von SAINLOGIC hatte, kann ich sagen, dass die eigentliche Messstation relativ lange mit einem Satz Batterien auskommt (bei mir über ein 1/2 Jahre). Batterien liegen übrigens nicht bei, auch nicht für die Basis.

EnguerrandEnguerrand: Installation assez simple, mais une connexion au wifi plus complexe que prévu (30 tentatives strictement identiques, 29 foireuses puis enfin ca a réussi). Ma PWS est donc connectée et live sur WU. Circuler dans les différents menus/réglages n'est pas optimal mais avec le manuel sous les yeux (et si on comprend l'anglais) on se débrouille. Le setup a été un calvaire mais une fois que tout fonctionne je suis très content de l'objet. Aucun problème de transmission entre le module et la tablette malgré quelques tonnes de beton et de verre à traverser, et les graphiques rendus sur WU sont top ! Très content de mon achat.
