Jman: This product test's out the same as any other test strip I have used. Main great feature is that you get 3 times more for less money. Don't spend more when the test results are exactly the same. You are only paying for the NAME on most products.

Amazon Customer: Maybe I got a defective back, but the PH test on the strip never changes from its original color and often sort of bleeds out. The difference in the Nitrate is almost undetectable by my eyes unless it is higher than 25 which makes in unusable for an aquarium. Honestly the only one that seems to be accurate and/or easy to read is the Chlorine which is the only reason I haven't thrown them away.

C & G: Test strips vary wildly unit to unit with tests taken back to back.
Maybe the ones I got are old but they are useless.
Some tests show no color change while others show varying erroneous results when compaired to a API reagent test kit

ElijahElijah: They work wonderfully. It’s much quicker and easier to do than test strips you find at large box stores. The strips test for things that are ACTUALLY relevant and I love that it tests for chlorine to let me know if I’ve used enough dechlorinator. The colors are also really specific and don’t fall on a hard to tell apart spectrum (especially the general hardness).

Gord Vogel: These are much easier to use then the liquid. You get 6 readings and lets you know when a water change is due. Would recommend these and will buy again.
Have used for awhile now and most of the reading seam OK but the hardness never changes and its never right, I double check with the liquid tests the hardness is way off.

I got these strips to test for hardness and it does seem to be relatively accurate in the sense that tanks I think are going to have harder water do show higher hardness numbers; however if it's accurate, I have no clue. Going to try using a TDS and pH digital meter to see if it matches what my API master test kit tells me.
