Judy: Appears to be a very good little radio for emergenciy use. i live where we have tornadoes, and I think this radio will be very useful to have during those alerts and if power is interrupted. Crank works well, light is good and I like that it also has regular batteries. Sometimes you have to crank a long time to get several minutes. I like the continuous information in an emergency situation and batteries provide that.
