Kat Val: It assembled easily. the remote control is a nice feature. I use it at the highest speed most of the time and, while its noisy, I would say that its about 1/3 less noise than other fans I have. The plastic housing is easy to clean.

kamackamac: We bought this fan for our back porch. We are very pleased with it. It moves a lot of air while making very little noise. It is very sturdy so we are not afraid of it blowing over. It looks nice also.
Our only issue is that the the remote can't control oscillation.

William S.: I liked the first one so much, I bought a second one. I am able to hide the fan in a corner and it is fairly unobtrusive, blends in with the walls. I would say it's louder than a traditional fan, especially on the high setting. Especially at night it works like a white noise machine, so that is a plus but during the daytime it can be a little annoying. More expensive than traditional fans. Overall, I think it is well made and works well. I would recommend.

gala: I received the tower fan with the ring that fastens the bottom to the fan missing, called Rowenta and Amazon without success, all that spoke to me were damn useless ROBOTS, I'm so freaking frustrated and annoyed.

Update, finally spoke to Rowenta and did what asked to do, they shipped me the missing piece, But it’s the wrong size for the fan, sigh)))))

Alyce: So I read all the reviews carefully and researched the fan online at various other sites. Wow, I thought, this sounds pretty decent. Here goes:

1) Assembly is pretty intuitive. There are no written instructions and diagrams aren't always clear, but it took me about 20 min to unpack and assemble the fan, not including one call to Rowenta customer service to doublecheck a step.

2) While on the phone with Rowenta I asked if they sell a cover for the fan, since it's described as "weatherproof," but obviously can't just sit out in a rainstorm. The customer service agent said the fan would need to be brought inside each time, not left out, even with a cover (which they don't sell and can't recommend one). In fact, he said if I did want to leave it out on the porch I would need to go buy a "hard plastic cover," which of course doesn't exist.

3) So I pressed a little further: could I leave the fan (which has a heavy base and would be awkward to carry in and out routinely) on the porch if I used a fan cover that like the ones advertised on Amazon. He really didn't know but he repeated that the fan isn't really "weatherproof" or meant to be left outside, even with a fan...

Mouna Cheblak: Ce ventilateur est très facile à monter. Il faut cependant remarquer que la petite bosse de la base noire correspond à un trou dans le ventilateur où il faut qu'elle rentre, quelque chose qui n'a pas été dit dans le guide de l'utilisateur. J'ai d'abord dû me demander pourquoi ma colonne n'était pas droite mais j'ai fini par le remarquer. La pile de la télécommande n'est pas incluse, autre chose que j'ai dû découvrir par moi-même.
Je suis tout de même fière de mon achat et j'estime que c'est un ventilateur haut de gamme, une lutte contre la chaleur et très beau dans ma chambre. Ça en vaut la peine.

M. Chaput: It looks nice in photos but it's actually just cheap plastic. The base is flimsy as can be. Doesn't even include a battery for the remote. Annoyingly only shows temperature in Fahrenheit.
