Peeves the Poltergeist: It is good I can get replacement accessories but I would have liked it if I could get the fluid on its own (the Flexiwheel is supposed to be good for 50 repairs but I was already running low on fluid after less than ten jobs). This makes it seem wasteful to not offer fluid on its own (Digital Innovations has this option on its website but it does not ship outside the United States).

D Stewart: It works as specified on skips, I don't know about deep scratches as this wasn't a problem of mine. The liquid is very expensive to replace, I had a lot of CD's to do, I had a bad idea and used methylated spirits which destroyed the wheel. I bought a new replacement wheel and got more liquid with that. I have since learnt that it is just very clean water so I bought a half litre of pure steam distilled water with zero ppm for a fraction of the price. The 4 star is because of the price of the liquid, other than that I'm very happy with it and the reconditioning of my CD's.

David Fewless: Originally I used to buy these from the local Grand Rapids Best Buy store, but now I order this kit from Amazon.
Instead of buying a new Skip Dr every time the resurfacing wheel wears out, I can simply buy this kit and replace the wheel, the cloth, solution, and buffing pad.
As a result, I have kept this device working on and on for the past several years now.
You can save many of your scratched and scuffed DVD's, cd's, BlueRay discs, cd-rom discs, and video game discs instead of having to buy new ones over the sake of a troublesome scratch or scuff which causes it to skip or freeze.
Unfortunately, the device cannot fix discs that skip or freeze due to a crack. And, some cracks cannot be seen either, because they are internal, and corrupt what's on the disc. Cracks can be difficult to diagnose, unless you know the signs. Sadly these discs are irreparable.
