"Rechargeable 1200 Lumen Bright Eyes Mountain Bike Headlight – Newly Upgraded and 100% Waterproof"

Bikeman: Gonna start with 4 stars and go from there. This light is for a new bike i have not recieved yet. So far here is what i think. BRIGHT. Even on low its bright. Of course thats seeing it shine in the daytime and looking into it. I will report back on how it performs in actual use. It is a LOT smaller than i was expecting which is actually nice. The rubber bands seem pretty durable and the battery and the light arent that heavy. I could have done without the tactical presentation box with magnetic closure, its nice, but hell that alone probably would knock 3 dollars or so off the price. Not bad for less than 30 delivered in just over a week. The tail light had gotten jostled and activated, so it was a little less than fully bright, but it came with 4 replacement batteries, which is a nice touch. It came with primary and replacement bands for the main light also which is more than the description offered. The battery case seems almost bullet proof and the nylon bag seems pretty nice as well. The tail ligh seems like more of an after thought , i might get a second one of these as a tail light with the red filter and diffuser set and use the diffuser on the front. Hell i might get a...

David ChristopherDavid Christopher: "WOW!"

I have caught myself saying "wow" to myself at least THREE separate times now since purchasing this headlight last July. Let me explain.

1.) The first "wow" came when the light arrived. After charging the battery per manufacturer's recommendations, I plugged it in and tested it out in my living room - it felt like a car had pulled into my house!! Unbelievably bright for such a small light. Yes, the external battery pack is a bit clunky (I would have preferred it all to be one unit), but now that I see the light output, I can see why it needs a dedicated battery. This thing is BRIGHT!!! I bike to work every day (as well as biking to run errands around town), and cars *consistently* hesitate to pull out in front of me - I think most of them think I am a motorcycle at first glance, due to the surprisingly bright light. For $40, I consider this a great value.

Over the past 6 months, I have biked in cold weather (down to the teens in degF), hot weather, pouring rain, driving wind, heavy fog, you name it - this light has handled it all like a champ. I always use the high setting (to be ultra conservative), and I've never had any trouble seeing what's in front...
