You won't get ANY use as a bike headlight -- I certainly didn't.
The rear mounting is so odd that it's a puzzle -- and useless.
The actual device and its performance is tip-top -- but for the money -- is a rotten deal.

Mark Forrester: At first I was more than satisfied with the quality of the headlight (and taillight), as well as the hours per charge that far exceeded my previous light. However, before long my headlight fell from the handlebars. It had been installed as per instructions and was adequately tightened (and not over-tightened). The typical jars and vibrations that come with road rides across bridges, and other bumpy surfaces, apparently caused the cheap plastic mounting system to break at the pivot point (where it hinges to close the circle on the handlebar). The light is well-made and yet the mounting system needs to be re-engineered with some kind of metal. As the saying goes, "a chain is only as strong as its weakest link," so the metaphor applies to the durability of this product.

D GUY: You read it all the time, brightest light ever, this is the best, then read the reviews on same light from ones who say piece of crap or 800 lumens not 8000. Well I have many very bright lights, including a Dewalt 20 volt light that was my brightest and a 1000 lunen that reaches out, waaay out there!!! Well this one smokes them all in every way but the long distance spot lights!!! Really does light a huge area and reaches 3-400 feet easy! Just buy it and thank me later!!!
