S Robertson: Ideal book for getting a better idea on how to better your knowledge with cattle for the inexperienced to beginner, diagrams on calving very useful and explanation on selection of breeding well worth reading.
Downside is that you have to be aware the knowledge is about cattle farming in America so if your in the UK I’d avoid trying the remedies and always call the vet, positively the author does say to get set up with a good vet for your cattle.

Susan Barganier: I gave this as a gift to a young man fulfilling a life long dream yo add cattle to his farming operation. He loves it, telling me it has proven his favorite gift this past Christmas. He has some cows and a bull now, so I believe he has a "handbook" to help--along with fellow cattle men, family, and his local Ag Extension folk. It takes a village, you know!
