This small air purifier arrived broken & doesn’t work. So, I can’t comment on its performance or how well it works to purify the air. The design is simplistic. It’s basically 2 small fans on either end of a filter. I suppose one is to pull the air in & the other fan pushes the “clean air” out. Only one of the fans on my unit works & just so happens it’s the “blower” fan. As you can see in my photos, the other fan doesn’t turn on at all, even though it’s clearly receiving power since the light is on behind it. As soon as I opened it, a small plastic piece of the frame fell out. This is part of the frame that locks one of the fans into place. So, not only does the fan not work, but it won’t even stay on since there’s nothing for it to lock into. It operates via standard USB & you must provide your own power source. Could be plugged into your car as long as it has a USB port (most all cars do now). You could also use this with a portable battery. The cable is very short. If you want to plug it into the wall in your home, your outlet will have to be very near where you intend to place it, or you’ll need an extension cord. It...

I have purchase this car filter because of it’s design. Reviews was a factor but, in my own review. Filter worked fine for a little while in car couldn’t really tell the difference in air quality. Also the fans on the end just popped out. Filter was in a secure spot with mis-handling. Other then glueing the fans back on and trying take them off again to replace filter, I would suggest looking at other models. Models that fit in cup holders work better, I own two. Well if this review helps I hope you make a wise decision. Notice fan can be put back in but trust me they just pop out again, and notice filter is not that dirty, it’s a wonder if it really cleans the air in vehicle.

My car had lower manifold gasket issues so the cabin would smell like burnt oil at red lights. This worked really well to keep the air quality good. No smell!
Update: Had for several months and now the fans pop out easily. Last week a fan popped out and while I was spinning on my dash one of the fan pieces snapped off and now it rattles very loudly when in use. Wish there were better products on the market.
