B. Troyer: I was impressed by the packaging of the kefir, quite clever and easy to open and pour into a mason jar for fermenting. Also, the quantity of kefir grains was good. Compared to other sellers I've purchased from in the past, what I received will produce some quality kefir quite quickly.

I know how to make kefir, so don't need instructions, but they are offered on a business card, which I find to be quite clever as well. No extra paper to lose and, I can look at the website (which I've not done yet) at my leisure. Also, the order was due on Monday and I received it 5 days early - nice bonus.

Julie: These grains came in a small plastic bag that was filled with milk curds and tiny tiny grains. I had to carefully add milk to this little bag and dump it out just to get the grains out. it has been a week now and the grains are still not producing anything but inedible kefir. I have made kefir before so I know what it is supposed to taste like. I'm giving up on these grains and going back to my previous brand.

Esther Castro: I used warmth to bring the grains to life in a pint of milk and they multiplied so quickly and then I put them in a quart of milk and they did great. I made sure they were warm. These are the fastes growing grains I have tried over many years.

JennaJenna: 2021 Update: I ordered these July 2019. 2 years later and they are still going strong. They don't reproduce as quickly as some people say they do but that is likely due to the fact that I make 1/2 gallon each week and keep them stored in the fridge in some milk in between uses. When I was making smaller amounts, they multiplied much faster but I went with the larger amounts due to temperature fluctuations in my house during the summer causing it to over-ferment too fast in smaller amounts.

As expected, especially in the hot Oklahoma heat, these arrived in a fully inflated ziplock. Thank you PoseyMom for double bagging AND heat sealing before putting in the shipping box! I think they would have most definitely exploded otherwise. What I didn’t expect was that they were almost completely liquified so there was no telling how much was actually sent. I am going to have to take the listing’s word for it. I did some reading on the liquid and read that it can be common in transporting but should revive and clump up again as I use them. I was also concerned because PoseyMom recommends not letting them be dormant in the fridge for longer than a week before first use and between...
