Johnie: I have purchased from this company before with great results. However, I had to stop making Kefir for a bit and when I started up I ordered from a regular fermented product company. Their grains never have multiplied. I needed more grains to increase the production due to the popularity with grand kids so I decided to go back to this company. And with only the second batch the grains are going crazy. They have increased enough that I can start a gallon jar on the next run. I am very impressed with their quality and the information sheets they include are excellent and on durable paper! I highly recommend Florida Sun Kefir!

April: Great looking grains! I’ve ordered water kefir grains from another company and they didn’t look any where near this big. Thankful for this company! I also loved the detailed instructions and helpful tips. I ended up learning some stuff I didn’t know about keeping the grains healthy!

J. RodgersJ. Rodgers: I have had water keifer grains from Florida Sun in the past but we got super busy and I popped them in the back of my fridge and kind of forgot about them. I got them out and after two years they reactivated but I am working on getting them back in balance and in the meantime my 8 yr old has become a water keifer fiend. All of my kids love it so I ordered a two pack of new grains, I did a couple of feed and dumps just to get them going after their trip and they exploded and are thriving! Instead of two full jars (I use 1/3 cup in each in just a couple of weeks I now have 5 jars brewing. They start bubbling within a couple of hours and about 48 hrs after I start them they are ready to bottle with a little juice and go for a second ferment to get the bubbles that we like. If you are worried about buying and having grains shipped, don’t be. These are fantastic and such a fun kitchen “pet”! *update*I just put everything in jars for my second ferment and measured my grains. Originally I was sent two 1/4 cup portions, that was 11/12/22, as of tonight, 11/29/22 I now have 14 CUPS of grains. They are multiplying like crazy!
