Amanda: I love this little cold brew maker since the regular size and the Toddy make too much cold brew for what I need. Easy to use and can fit comfortably in my fridge.

I was specifically looking for a small drip cold brew maker and this fit the bill. I also purchased the OXO cold brew (paper) filters to use with this (in addition to the filter that comes with this brewer).

I have to admit that the plastic parts feel a bit cheap and flimsy but so far, the system has held up.

EMMANAOE: 指定された位置までコーヒーの粉を入れるとドリップコーヒーにしたら10杯以上の粉が入りました。一晩かけて水出しコーヒーを作りましたが、ミルクと半々に割っても丁度いいぐらい濃いめが作れました。
コーヒーの量を調整したり、氷を足して濃さは調整し飲んでます。
フィルターを洗うようでコーヒー粉の処分がもう少し楽だと最高なのですが。でも💦出しの美味しいコーヒーは味わえます！

Toots23: This OXO unit is perfect for homebrewing your cold brew! I have no problem with this maker at all. It's easy to use & stores right on my refrigerator shelf during & after brewing! My issue is more with the fact that it takes an entire bag of coffee to make one brewing! Not cost efficient at all! I'm now using Starbucks liquid concentrate b/c of the cost! Into the storage area it goes!

Had to buy a second one for her to take back to university to replace the other brand we initially sent her last year as this one is so superior.

astronaut_elvis: Beware it leaks. Not bad, but it can and will leak. The reason for my star rating is that the appliance is good. Makes decent cold brew concentrate, (depending on your grind and brand of coffee) and is very easy. I’m also disappointed that my first one leaked pretty bad and the second still has some leak issues, but I love my coffee and I am standing behind the product and company.

Katie: I was making cold brew the old-school, painstaking way before I found this. Always had wet coffee grounds everywhere, struggling to strain the cold brew out of my pitcher. I had hoped for the best when I bought this, and it is a total game changer! Cold brew is SO easy with this product and the product makes it easy for people who don’t know much about cold brew. Fill the filter compartment to the line with grounds, fill the glass twice to the dot and dump. It doesn’t drain unless you set the filter onto the glass, making it a no-mess, fast way to get your cold brew. I tell everyone about this thing. If you’re thinking about buying this, just buy it. You’re gonna love it.

Gweithir: I am a professional barista. I wanted something close in quality to the Toddy system I'm used to at work, but designed for smaller batches. This fits the bill exactly. It makes an excellent gift for both cold brew novices (I got mom one for Mother's Day and she loves it) and those of us who have (or have used) nearly every sort of coffee brewer imaginable.

The standard recipe OXO provides (which the marks on my carafe and brewer are accurately set to) uses 6oz/170g of coffee, and results in about 16oz of concentrate, or around a week's worth for one person. Other brewers I've used are generally designed to make a lot more coffee concentrate, and I never get through all of it before it's off peak. The small brew size is also great for making small test batches or trying new coffees.

I've brewed two batches so far, one with only the included metal filter and one using the additional paper filters OXO sells (the paper filters fit the larger brewer as well as this one the same). Both batches were very clean, with no 'chewy' or gritty feeling from fines. I don't believe the paper filter is necessary for a good cup, but the batch I brewed with a paper filter was slightly...

Kathy Tran: There is an issue with Cold Brew nowadays. Namely - there is a quickly closing gap in between the taste & value of homemade versus store bought. See back in the long long ago, the only place you could get cold brew was that hipster coffee shop near downtown (the one with the good music and the tip jar with the funny sign). Other than that, you had no choice but to make it yourself, and because of its lack of prevalence, you basically wound up making some super janky Toddy Style system with a Home Depot bucket and some cheesecloth because you didn't know what you were doing.
Now, all of that is different. Cold brew has entered the general population and has surged in popularity (with good reason!) There does lie a problem though. People assume, just like traditionally brewed coffee, that its much much cheaper to make it at home. While this is true to an extent, its not nearly the cost benefit that you would see from making a pot at home versus a $3.50 macchiato from the green and white mermaid lady.
