rebecca rebecca : Living in a mobile home space is limited, we have 4 cats and 2 dogs one of which fits through the cat door and loves to bring in EVERYTHING which she then shreds to tiny pieces. We live in the middle of the woods, lots of wildlife, our own chickens so everything gets tracked in. I use the fan attachment for the stucco ceilings which collect spider webs & dust. The pet attachment is GREAT, I use it on my comforters to remove the cat/dog hair, works great on the plush hassocks we have which are a magnet for fur.

Upon rinsing the pre filter I decided it needed protection if it was to last any length of time so cut a low thread count cloth to fit over it, this prevents the heavy dust from adhering to it which makes clean up much easier to deal with.

Hepa filter performs, I actually noticed a difference in the air after vacuuming.

Deb: My husband and I recently moved and we now have a good deal more bare hardwood than previously. The stairs, though, are carpeted, and we have a dog and a cat. We wanted something lightweight and portable that wouldn't be a royal pain to set up and lug around each time we wanted to use it, regardless of whether it was for a quick spin around a room or a deeper clean. This unit, with all of its attachments, is perfect. We have found the suction to be pretty decent and it's very lightweight. Love the adjustable attachment that lets me get into places that are up high (like door jambs and ceiling fans). The attachment for pet hair is perfect for their bedding. We also use it on the staircase (the cat hangs out there quite a bit). The crevice tool won't wow you, but it's serviceable. Lots of reviewers had complained about the short length of the cord but we simply keep an extension cord in a small bag along with the attachments and use it each time - problem solved. The canister is exceptionally easy to remove and clean. We use this little guy all the time. It's useful, practical, and gets the job done. Money extremely well spent.

Rae: Great vacuum! I wanted a canister vac with various, "useful" attachments, without spending a fortune. I have a Dyson upright that's, of course, great for carpets but the multiple attachments are awkward to use on the hose and wand attached to the unit. My wrist gets sore battling with it while vacuuming sofas, lamp shades, wall decor, walls, furniture, ceiling fans, but NOT with this Ovente Bagless Canister. I can vacuum all the above mentioned things around the house (probably left out a few) very easily. The unit rolls behind you smoothly and doesn't flip over on its side as my old Dirty Devil canister use to. Some reviewers mentioned the cord is rather short. I prefer not having a lot of cord to trip over while moving around the room vacuuming everything other than the floors, so I am quite satisfied with it. It's light weight enough to lift and hold in one hand while using the other to reach the ceiling with the wand in the other. The various attachments work very well, unlike the usual flimsy ones that come with lower priced vacuums.
