Organic Raw Carob Powder from Australia - Natural Superfood for Baking and Smoothies

T. Lee: This is my favorite Carob Powder. I like that it is Raw versus toasted. I add about a tablespoon to my smoothies, and it tastes great. I formerly would add Cacao, but I prefer the Carob at it is non-caffeinated. This is a great product, and I would buy again.

Patrick Boyd: The flavor is excellent, I will be ordering the larger size next time, dissolves well has a very fine grit. Some may think it could be milled more for absolute smoothness but fine milling is easier on hard roasted products and ultra fine milling resists dissolving and clumps .... so I'm happy with the compromise.....the flavor is that good.

JohnO: I am on the 'acid watcher diet' and this seems to be the only Raw/Organic and non roasted Carob powder I could find. I don't really want roasted because I don't want the high heat (not sure but I think high heat is typically a bad thing for any food). so I chose it raw. Beautiful packaging and seems like the company cares about quality. Yes, it's a bit on pricier said but as they say - you get what you pay for. I literally have never ate Carob powder like this. Today was my first try. It does not have a strong odor; it's pretty light.

I'm not sure why but I do trust this company - them seem very dedicated to quality on their site - also it's labelled organic; so that good. I used it in a smoothie with lots of other things - it did not overpower the smoothie. I would like to get the cost down to $12/lb vs $18 but again, seems like no one else has an organic raw carob that I can find. Hope this helps.
