Applejacks1221: This brand of carob powder is a must have if you follow the AIP way of eating protocol.
It’s not bitter at all and there is no weird aftertaste.
Love it sprinkled over coconut based ice cream with frozen cherries and bananas.
Only negative is the price. Found it cheaper at a local location but for convenience ordering online is easier.

Kayleen: I've had a chocolate allergy for about 14 years now, and I've tried a lot of carob products. This carob powder is hands-down the BEST I've ever tried, with the most chocolate-like flavor. Even my chocoholic daughter liked the carob frosting I made with it, and she's pretty picky.
It also dissolves better than any other carob powder I've tried, so it's great for making hot "cocoa" and ice cream.
The flavor is close to milk chocolate. If you're looking for a dark chocolate flavor, this won't give you that.
The only drawback to this carob powder is that it's so expensive. For that reason, I still use a cheaper carob powder (Chatfield's) in some of my recipes, such as those that include almond butter.
