MDC: I’m on a fairly strict diet for reflux and I really cannot have chocolate anymore. I learned of carob and figured I’d give it a try. I’ve tried different brands. This one is very good, rich but not too rich. It does have a little different texture than cocoa almost like a fine powder that is easy to make a mess if you get a little too excited for your recipe and stir it too quick it might fly out of the sides of the bowls. That’s all carob powder though. Nothing against this brand just a helpful fyi so you’re not having a carob confetti party all over your counter. It substitutes well in any recipe I’ve not had to alter amounts like some other ingredient substitutes. Highly recommend it.
