ct1340: We had new wood flooring installed and I was looking for an alternative to the hard plastic wheels on my desk chair to protect the new floor. I came across these wheels and decided to give them a try. The installation was super easy. The wheels are absolutely quiet and glide beautifully on the new flooring without leaving a mark or any kind of wear pattern in the wood. Highly recommend these as a replacement for standard chair wheels. Very happy with this purchase!

some guy: The functionality of these casters is great to say the least. They are quiet, easy to install and let your office chair roll around like an ice skate. The downside that nobody's talking about is that if you use your chair without shoes on and you happen to have your foot on the wheel, then move somewhere, it will suck your skin between the wheel and the frame and it hurts like the Dickens! I'm guessing most people don't have office chairs at home or they're keeping their shoes on at work like normal people would (I'm looking at you office weirdos, put your shoes back on) and is simply will not be a problem.

Product looks like it does on the ad with exception to the wheel saying “Made in China” not Opticco as the pictures show. There’s no brand in this or customer support just a poorly written instruction card.

I didn’t honestly notice until after installing but I paid more for what I thought was a brand but is just the exact same as the 500 available on here.

This is not a real brand it’s just misleading.

Joseph P: I purchased these to replace the original castors on my home office chair. It's been months of working from home, using them every day, and they've held up really well. I'm using them on a hardwood floor, and they move very smoothly. I actually had to get used to how easily my chair would move.
The only disappointment was the slow shipping. I wish they had been fulfilled by Amazon rather than shipped by the seller, but they arrived intact and complete.

S. SnowpawS. Snowpaw: So after spending $32.75 On these wheels I was more than excited to receive them to know what makes wheels worth 32.75. Breaking it down we have the cost of $6.55 per wheel, when you open the box, these wheels are hefty. Made of metal, and good quality bearings (I'm not a bearing expert) and the wheel material reminds me of a RAZOR Scooter wheel, So I am definitely impressed with the build quality. To continue I'm working on carpet and It has improved my movement noticeably. My new gaming chair came with cheap office chair wheels with a fancy design on them (They are decent wheels so we put them on my wifes chair, as seen in picture) the biggest issue is that with animals we have fur everywhere and when putting my old wheels on my wifes chair who has the same cheap office char 2 part plastic wheel, fur had jammed up one of her wheels, that being said the new wheels being the one wheel design makes it difficult for fur to build up and if it does, the metal parts could resist heat if you had to burn some out. So what you are getting for 6.55 a wheel is a well made product that will last longer than the chair itself, improves movement (Wish I had concrete or hardwood floors to zoom...

Always Looking for the Truth: Originally, my rolling office stool had plastic, wide roller wheels on it. They seemed to be a magnet for my long hair. After owning the stool for quite a while - also purchased on Amazon - the wheels did not move as freely. When I investigated the cause for their sluggishness - lo and behold! - they were clogged up with my long hair!

After one of my daughters and I spent over an hour trying to cut all of the hair out with fine scissors, a razor blade, and an Exacto knife, I quit, in frustration. Evidently every time one of my long hairs hit the floor, it was instantly attracted to the plastic wheels. In addition, most of the other females who help me in our business, also have long hair - SO - there were plenty of long hairs around to clog up the wheels.

I ordered these wheels. They arrived a few minutes ago. We installed them, and what a difference! Not only are they quiet, but they enable me to roll around on my stool much faster, AND there is no place for hair to collect.

They appear to be very sturdy. They were easy to install. They are smooth gliding, and I am glad I purchased them!

Cody Balsdon: These were a great choice to replace my stock standard hard plastic wheels after years of using a crappy tile mat. I have been able to remove the tile mat and glide around with ease on these.

Make sire to check the shaft size before buying as some off brands have non standard sizes.
