Will Henry: Good standard size replacement wheels that work well on carpet. They are much smoother rolling than the original 2inch plastic ones. The only slight issue is that they are a tiny bit less smooth when changing direction due to the larger wheels having to flip around. But my experience is on carpet so it may not even be noticeable on a hard surface. That being said, I love the new wheels and the less smooth direction changing does not bother me at all. Just wanted to list it as something I noticed.

astronautica: These work great. Smooth and silent, easy to turn and move around. Sometime (very rarely), the rubber wheels can get caught at a bad angle and might be a bit difficult to maneuver. But this is only a minor issue, overall these wheel are a huge upgrade from the clunky plastic ones most chairs come with.

Brian: These remind me a lot of the wheels I used to have on rollerblades 20 years ago. They roll smoothly and fairly quietly, but have enough friction that they requite a bit of force to move, so you aren't rolling around every time you move. They feel quite a bit more solid than the normal cheap plastic wheels that come with most office chairs, the type with two slim plastic wheels with a bar/axle between them that sometimes crack or pop off if you sit down too hard or weigh more than they can handle. If they wear at about the same rate my rollerblade wheels did, these should last over a decade of use on a chair that rolls on a mat a few feet a day, and they have a fairly universal mount, so they should be compatible with most office chairs and can be re-used on multiple chairs.

GregGreg: The media could not be loaded.  My chair had standard plastic casters which would get full of hair constantly causing parts of the wheel to fall off and to not roll well.

I decided to order these roller blade style wheels and I’m happy with them, they’re made in Taiwan and the install is fairly simple but it takes some pulling and wiggling the old wheels out of place before putting the new ones it and pushing those in.

Once on they roll around almost silently compared to my old ones. They move around so much more smoothly, and they don’t seem to get as much hair stuck in them so hopefully they’ll be easier to clean and less often needed.

Overall it’s a worthy upgrade for my chair and I’m really happy to not be annoyed by my old plastic casters anymore.

WHG: Plastic wheels broke on my desk chair after many years of service, but even before then they would drive me mad as they never rolled nicely on my carpet. Finally purchased these and for the quality it is an incredibly reasonable price. Very fast delivery, nice packaging, super simple to install (less than 2 minutes including removing the old wheels). Rolls very nicely on my carpet, it's like I have a whole new chair. I am confident these will literally last a lifetime. I plan on purchasing a new desk chair sometime soon as my current one is worse for wear, but I definitely won't be throwing these new wheels away. They will be going straight on the new chair.

Troy birt: so brought a secret lab titan xl cookies and cream, lovely chair, wheels where absolutely rubbish, my council garden bin is made of better plastic lol sooo scrapped the useless things, brought these slotted straight in and the it turned the secret lab titan xl into the 500 quid plus chair it should be, as i told secret lab when your spending that kind of money on a chair i dont want wheels that are identical to the pathetic offerings on my brothers 60 quid chair lol, all that money spent on R n D and they scrounge the bargain bin for wheels lol so anyone with a computer chair who wants a quite smooth ride treat your self to a set of these they are sturdy as hell, and make your chair look way better imo, but doesnt just have to be a expensive chair my brother got some for his chair too office owl should partner up with a gaming chair company so there all forced to improve there wheels, that all being said they do increase the hight of the chair a bit a good inch or so but it isn't a bad thing unless your like tiny and already on the lowest the gas lift will go

BrianP: They roll so smoothly, they glide so effortlessly, they work so well... after installing them I grabbed my desk to roll my chair forward as I normally would with the old original chair casters, and I FLEW forward at a surprising speed, smashing into the edge of the desk.
Considerably less effort is required to move around with these Office Owl casters!

These wheels roll on hard surfaces like a dream, silently and silky smooth, but they transition from hard surface to rugs or carpet without a problem thanks to the increased diameter of the wheel.

These Office Owl casters are 50% taller than factory wheels so you will notice a slight height increase in the chair, but it is minimal. These wheels are about 78mm/3" diameter. My factory chair wheels were 49mm/2" so it is only about 1/2" height increase, but they perform SO much better on carpets and rugs being 50% larger.

Because these are built well, using actual bearings for both the swivel and wheel and quality materials, they are capable of holding more weight than the cheap wheels that come with most chairs. To make up for the lower weight capacity on the factor wheels, they use 2 wheels side-by-side on each...
