PJH: This radio is tiny, and I think that explains the weak reception. Local AM radio stations come in much weaker than other radios we have. The weather stations also come in weaker than our Midland handheld GMRS radios.

ashley: I have been looking at this for a while. It arrived very fast, It is very easy to use. There is a crack power , battery power, solar power and rechargeable battery. It charges my phone well. flashlights are nice and bright. the only down side for me is, I cant get clear reception at my drive in movie, so I am unable to use it there but that is ok it is great for camping and safety!

Es compacto y verdaderamente disfrutas de la radio por horas con un volumen promedio, el control para manipular el volumen es el ideal (de reostato) ya que los de botón (+ y -) fallan.

Joseph: In every household in the US, there should be two types of NOAA weather radio: one like this that is portable, crank-rechargeable, and capable of also tuning into the local AM and FM bands, and one like the Midland WR-120, that you keep on a table somewhere, while it's constantly listening for the SAME headers used by the Emergency Alert System on your local NWR station. Those desktop NOAA SAME radios will automatically turn on with a loud siren to let you know when your local NWR station has issued any severe weather warnings or other emergency alerts, assuming you have programmed it right. If you live in the United States, I highly recommend buying one of those as well. A solid, user-friendly option (very easy to program) is the Midland WR-120, considered by many to be the gold standard of automatic-alerting NOAA radios.

When your desktop receiver goes off and lets you know of the tornado warning, wildfire, evacuation, etc, you and your family will be quickly informed of what to do. Max: Dieses Produkt hat eine megaschlechte Perfomance und die Wetterkanäle funktionieren überhaupt nicht.
Eigentlich wollte ich das Produkt zurückgeben, aber die Rücksendung kostet 55€. Da die Rücksendekosten in keinem Verhältnis zum Kaufpreis stehen, habe ich jetzt ein schlechtes Produkt in der Schublade herumliegen und irgendwann wird es wohl in der Mülltonne landen. Ich kann somit nur vom Kauf abraten. 1 Stern ist noch zuviel.
