Ingo: Really love the design and handle on this little knife! Came very sharp and nice point and the sheath is nice except the latch part needs to be a little higher cause it won’t snap. I’ll just cut the slits a little longer. Had one in 80 and loved it but got stolen. Didn’t take the sheath though. I think that one had a sawn bone handle and this one is plastic. They do have one made in the USA but it’s 60 bucks! This design is great for skinning and for fileting! Love it

WolfWolf: The media could not be loaded.  This has been the most reliable, sharpness edged, that can be sharpened over and over and always comes true, Blade I've ever owned!! I had one growing up and had lost everything I owned in a hurricane a year ago!
I have missed that knife, so I ordered a brand new one and can safely say, I hopefully will have it for the next 20 years!!
If your ever at a yard sale and find these Old Timer Cutlery knives, BUY THEM!! They make all sorts of kitchen knives and much more hunting knives!! I'd definitely rate them at a 10 if I could!!

Keeton Tinker: Very cool knife very sharp it comes with a very nice case it is a fixed blade so it does not close but the case is very good it clips onto your belt. The shape is very a cool design too. It is very easy to handle it fits very good in my hand.

A Real Review: I have many knives and sometimes buy less expensive ones to use around the place. This knife is really nice, and I was very impressed with it. The craftmanship is pretty much flawless, and fit and finish are very nice. The most impressive was the leather scabbard that comes with it: excellent stitching and quality of leather. I am very impressed, in fact I bought a second one. What's the downside? As with many inexpensive knives, the quality of steel is not premium - who would expect that at this price? But this means you will have to sharpen it a little more often than those $200+ jobs. Out of having and using maybe 50 knives, I can say you won't be disappointed with this one.

marathonmanmarathonman: For the price of this excellent quality built knife amazes me, I put my first built lanyard on it and what a great little Skinner knife and what ever else you want to use it on I'm sure it will handle it. 5star if there was more stars it would be that many stars ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨.

Todd ClattenburgTodd Clattenburg: I really like the unique shape of this knife. It's a solid deal for the price.
That being said, when I got it and looked it over, I found a few disappointing qualities.
Number 1 - the handle. It is made out of hollow plastic. I smacked it off with a hammer, and put a walnut handle on it. (see pictures)
Number 2 - the sheath is made of decent leather, but there is no welt. The lack of a welt means that the blade will cut the threads sooner than later.
Like I said before though - the blade is a great, usable shape. When I tried drilling through the tang to add a third pin, it took out two drill bits, before I gave up trying to drill into it. Which I was pretty impressed with.
Oh, I also cut some notches into the lower back of the blade to improve the handling of the knife, which made a big difference.
Next up, I'm making a neck-sheath for it, I think a knife of this size is perfect for a neck knife.
Overall, I think this knife is a solid deal for the price, and I'd recommend it.

F. ChillerF.

IAK: The shape of the blade is great for just about everything . The blade is thick enough to do some work. A great utilitarian knife of medium duty.
Every day carry. Hiking. Camping. Daily chores. It's hard to describe how versatile this knife is, but I use it for everything from opening packages to hiking to cutting my steak. This knife is far more useful than performing "hunting" or "skinning" task. The full-tang blade is thick and the handle scales are satisfying to handle. The grind on the blade gradually converges to a cutting edge from the base (it isn't sharpened near the lowest point). The blade length is just about perfect for general use. Good knife for money.

Amazon Customer: I have recently moved home after many years in a large city thousands of miles from the tiny village in which I was raised. I bought a large knife I hoped would serve many camping duties, fishing chores, the requirements of a hunt camp and so on. The knife I chose was awkward, soon dulled and was not a useful tool. The Shrade Sharpfinger was recommended by an old trapper who still plies his trade in remote areas of this Province. I preface my comments with this background because the Shrade Sharpfinger has been around for many years. Made by American tradespeople and the company owned by the same family. The reputation of this knife was earned due to its incredible balance, unique but useful shape which allows it to be useful on so many planes. A sharp point to penetrate, a swept blade to cut longitudinally, a broad back to support your hand under pressure, and a stout handle to aid your hand in handling. The old trapper knew whereof he spoke. Contrary to what we have been made to believe, the Srade company did not go broke or declare chapter 11. It became impossible I suppose, to manufacture this beautiful knife, in an economic climate that supported high wages. A plague on our...
