DanielDaniel: Por 30 euros todo el golpeador con pastillas y electrónica instalada no está nada mal. Eso sí, las pastillas meten un ruido notable, y los botones que traen los potenciometros son terribles (se cambian fácilmente por otros mejores). Calidad regular, pero por este precio es muchísimo más de lo que cabe esperar. Tuve que retaladrar el mueble para poner los tornillos, en mi guitarra no coincidían (era de esperar, pasa siempre)

Geoffrey McCleland: The end result is good and the sound of the guitar is much improved. There was a lot of modifications to make to the guitar so that the new pick guard and pick ups can be fitted. The end results were worth the effort.

qui avait un son pourri et pleins de positions
avec des faux contacts .
pour moins de 27 euros c’était parfait , là 8 euros
en plus pour une pelle que tu trouves a 50 euros
sur L B C ça fait un peu mal , je me souviens de
pickguard a 19 euros ( sodial ) .
bon sinon le son n'est pas mauvais et c'est bien
pour des pelles style delson ; vision ; et même
fazley .
son sympa a condition de mettre les potards tone
a fond et de ne pas être trop exigent .

Brian MaidenBrian Maiden: First off, having done this replacement the Musically loaded SSH pickguard works. I'm only using a 4 watt practice amp but with headphones the guitar sounds as good as it ever did.

I have a few observations on using it in the Sunn Strat and why I have it as 4* not 5*

The pickguard didn't fit the original holes, only one aligned. I expected this by comparing the photo with my guitar. I didn't expect the hole next to the bottom pot to hit a void though. So be warned...

The overall build quality is much less sturdy than the original. The pickguard plastic is more flimsy, the wire and insulation is MUCH thinner. On the plus side this means it's still easy to thread the two wires through to the jack. The sun had a two in one wire.

The screws holding the pickguard on are MUCH larger, compared to the Sunny's tiny screws. This means they protrude above the countersinking unlike the Sunn's. So in theory, it's possible you might catch a knuckle, in practice it's not happened after an hour or so's punk playing. It doesn't look as neat as a result though, and I prefer the really small screws. I couldn't reuse them as they were tarnished.

Ass wipe: It’s ok. Good for the price. It works as it should. But the pickups sound thin!!!! Easy installation, very low noise if any. Definitely worth the money

Forrest Cahoon: My son bought a cheap Fender Starcaster off of Facebook Marketplace, but the electronics were shot. I was going to write it off as one of those life lessons when I discovered that fully-wired pickguards were a thing.

I bought this one because it was relatively cheap and I didn't expect much. But everything was fine. I was able to figure out the wiring from the diagram in the description easily enough (there are no more instructions). The holes didn't quite line up, but I drilled new holes, which worked perfectly.

I don't have enough experience with electric guitars to comment on the tone quality but there wasn't any static or buzzing, which is a lot better than what we had before.

I guess this was one of those life lessons: the good kind.
