Mrs. McGurk: I have an American partscaster tele that I love. It's layed out more like a G&L ASAT. I was able to trace and rout out the control area to for my guitar with a band saw and a rotary tool. Matte black looks fantastic on the surf green finish.

Amazon Customer: The pick guard has is clear and the proper shape.
The big problem is the pick guard does not have mounting holes for the pickup. Therefore makes it rather useless. You have to go in and drill the holes yourself and be very careful on the drill speed with the right drill bit or else the item will crack.

Gemma BuddGemma Budd: While I know these are a bit of a hit and miss product with having to file them to fit onto a strat or tele, However it's almost impossible when they are warped beyond the point you can't get them to fit.

However on the plus side I am sure a replacement will be sent out soon as possible

Charlie: I am on my 10th or 12th tele build and have amassed a cool library or palette of various pick guards. I find this really helpful or even really "playful" to select an option or re-visit and change out the piece based on its color interaction with the body etc. So, the low price makes that much easier.
Finally, I really have to say something about the whiners who bash products like this and give 1 star because they aren't capable of doing the most minimal tooling to adapt these to their guitar. If you can't handle a bit of filing, drilling or sanding why are you messing with your guitar(s) at all then? "it didn't fit my blah blah model perfectly-waaah waaaah waaaah!" Well, I have installed these on American pro fenders all the way to $35 paulownia bodies and have been amazed at how close the tolerances are between the real deal and all the knock offs. So much so I don't think twice when buying tele bodies , necks or other parts . Have fun!
