Patrick: Foam rolling my quads while laying down on the roller was too painful for me so I decided to get this instead until my muscles got to the point where I could foam roll on the ground. It's been working great at releasing the tension, and it get's less painful every time. It is a durable product that is easy to use, I highly recommend it.

David Swale: I love a good foam roll, but I'll be honest, with having 2 kids now (youngest is now almost 5 months) I only have the energy to do 1 workout a day. And foam rolling can sometimes feel like 2. If I want to be lazy and lay on the couch after the sweet little gremlins are in bed, I can easily soothe and roll out my muscles while I'm watching a show. Spoiler alert: the bumpy notches on this get in there real good and sometimes leave bruises. But it works like a charm getting those tight muscles relaxed so I can hit the pavement again next day. Plus, my 2 year old thinks it's fun and sometimes uses it on my back...oh darn.

alicia: I'm very fit and have been working out for decades. Noticed a bit of cellulite, my dermatologist recommended using a roller. The previous one I bought bruised the crap put of me, even after using it for a month I bruised badly every time. This roller hasn't caused me any bruising! It's def hard on the muscles and you can feel it breaking up the stiffness, painful but it's supposed to be. I've been using every other day and have to get a single bruise.
Do note that it has that CA cancer warning on the box. Nothing to be concerned of, but for some may not want to buy it if they see this warning.
