Desert Rose: Over the past few months I have been slowly amassing an assortment of exercise equipment preparing for the inevitable closure of gyms (again). An avid gym goer I frequented the gym 4-5 times a week pre Corona. I have quite a bit of equipment and machines at home now. Because I already own some expensive pieces such as a Stairmaster, stationary bike, and barbell weights, I did not want to invest too much money on a treadmill. I was looking for a very simple yet effective model. I was hesitant about purchasing such an item online, but I figured Amazon is great with returns so I should be okay. Also I purchased the 2 year service plan by Asurion. I completed lengthy research because there are so many options. I wanted a folding model to conserve space. Other options either had ridiculous mandatory features such as ifit or horrible customer service reviews (even big name companies). For my usage purposes, I see absolutely no reason to need anything like ifit. I construct my own training sessions and don't follow programs and all I really need for a work out are my Beats, heart rate monitor, and old school training journal. SF: THREE MONTH FOLLOW UP:
Happy to say that this will be short because 3 months out we’re still very happy with this treadmill. Just as the booklet said, the belt stretches a bit with initial use so you have to adjust it to keep it tight. It’s very easy to do and the tool that came with the treadmill is well designed and helpful. Zero issues with the treadmill at this point. Also (duh) we figured out that the distance is in km not miles so that explains why the distance seemed pretty off. It doesn’t look like you can switch to miles but that doesn’t matter to us. We’re focused on time running more than distance. Plus we really should be using metric because the imperial system is just dumb.

michael barriermichael barrier: This is a great treadmill. Set up in about 20 minutes and it was easy to move around to put it in the right room. The treadmill is easy to use and very quiet and wide enough for my big feet and frame. I like that it has dual holders to put my phone or iPad. It is inexpensive and comes with many useful features With a strong & stable power of 2.5HP, this treadmill is also very quiet and doesn't interfere with me watching programs or movies online. I highly recommend this for anyone, either an amateur or pro. Even my dog uses it!

Treadmill was exceptionally easy to put together (even all by myself). It is definitely a small treadmill. I am 5’5” ~120 lbs and it fits me fine, but for a larger/taller person it might be challenging. Easy to use and perfect for a simple at home gym. Comfortable cushion on the running base. Love the water bottle holder too (lots of treadmills in this price range don’t have them). Only downside I’ve noticed (other than size) is the mph/speed is not at all comparable to larger models (in traditional gyms, etc). For example, I is usually start running/comfortable jog at a 5.0 to warm up at the gym. On this treadmill, my warm up speed was an 8.0 on this machine (max available is 13.0 on this machine). And the treadmill calculates distance run off of speed, so it was drastically overestimating how far I actually ran. It doesn’t bother me too much cause I can just use my Apple Watch for distance, but just something to be aware of. Otherwise, it’s a good product for the price.
