PoorGradStudent: I have so many things to plug into my laptop: zoom camera, headphones, external drive, mouse dongle, and keyboard dongle. And newer laptops are coming out with less and less ports as devices are going up. This device allows me to use my perfectly good USB devices over having to buy new boothtooth ones. Works great - no complaints.

Placeholder: This does not make a proper connection from a laptop to an external TV. We were using HDMI cables. We need it for work. It does not connect. Only my cheap Mochin connects. Passed the return window of course so I’m left hanging

Edit: I changed my initial rating from one star to four simply because the customer service stood out. The adapter did not work for me and I was refunded, even though it was after the return date. Customer service means everything to me and they made this situation, right?

LaurenLauren: The media could not be loaded.  Great tech product! I was initially skeptical because of all the adapter options, but it's held up GREAT OVERTIME. I've had this adapter for a year and a half, and it still works the same as the day I got it. I'm a graphic designer, so I take my tech very seriously I use this every day for hours on end, and I see no differences in quality over time. Highly recommend! One comment on charging and using the adapter simultaneously, if you have a mac 2017 or newer, you can use the USB C to charge while using the adapter (lack of ports on newer macs). Unfortunately, if you have 2017 or older, you can not use the USB C to change on the adapter, but lucky older macs have 4 or more ports, so you should be fine!

Stephen: I am updating this review after working with support from MOKIN. After a few messages explaining the issue with MOKIN support, they are quick to respond and send me a replacement unit. Upon receiving the replacement, I found out the issue happens only on the thunderbolt/USB-C ports on the right side of the MacBook Pro. If I plug the docking station to the ports on the left side, it works fine. I got the same result with the original and the replacement unit. So at this point, it seems to be problem with the ports on the right side of the MacBook Pro.
I revised the review to be 5-star for both the product and the support provided by the company.

Jennifer Dykstra: Loved this product to begin with. Worked exactly how I needed. Then, two months to the day I ordered, it quit working. I contacted the seller to ask for refund or replacement and this was the response - “It's been a long time. I can't do anything as per Amazon policies. Take good care of yourself.” Two months is NOT a long time. Terrible service, terrible product. Shop elsewhere!

Katie R.: UPDATE 9/2023 1 Star: After a couple of years of minimal unplugging, the majority of the ports I use have now gone out. The HDMI that connects my second monitor no longer functions. The power source in no longer works. The VGA still works for the first monitor. The Ethernet works... sometimes? So I'm back to plugging in at least 3+ separate cords for monitors and power every time I plug in which defeats the purpose of a docking station. Definitely did not withstand the test of time and I'm back to searching for a new option.

Being on a Mac, I've struggled to find a reasonably priced docking station that allows me to run two independent external monitors. I thought this one was going to do it. It worked decently well for the first 7 months of only un/plugging it on occasion but now I'm starting to experience issues with the monitors flickering and or disconnecting (which makes the computer non-functioning while your displays sort themselves out). I think it's the docking station port(s) starting to go out so I'm not confident in how long this docking station will continue to work. Granted, I have not yet tested the HDMI cable so I can't rule that...

YoungYoung: This is a good little dock for a MacBook Pro. I use it for charging, network, speakers, mic, and keyboard. It would be even nicer if it had more USB-C ports coming out. Note that M1 macbooks don't support multiple external monitors.
