Milescraft 1314 DrillPump750 Self-Priming Water Transfer Pump - Easy to Use & Portable

SZimmie: This pump requires a bit of setup. You must correctly fasten it to a board that is the correct size for your drill.

We used it to drain a fountain in preparation for winter. It worked much better and faster than I expected.

There is some maintenance required after each use. You must disassemble and grease the paddles with silicone grease after each use. Otherwise you risk the paddles drying out and cracking. That will render the pump useless.

Michael AdamsMichael Adams: I put in a 100 gallon water water trough in the woods for the deer and turkey. Hopefully the rain will keep it filled, but I did have to fill it to start. I ran 600' of garden hose from a tank in my truck to the trough. I wasn't expecting much out of a $15, all plastic tool. But WOW! Moved the water faster then expected through the 600' of hose. Definitely worth the money.

James G LoDolce: I have a 1 1/2 inch 150’ underground pipe going from my house to a spigot in my garden. Due to bed rock, I could only dig down 2 feet, therefore I have to winterize it every fall. I first blow out the pipe using a compressor and then pump a few gallons of RV antifreeze into the system and then blow it out again. I had a flimsy pump I used last year but couldn’t find it in my garage. Therefore I bought this one. This one is rugged and powerful. I had no trouble using my, 19 V portable drill. It worked great.

Mr Roger Purdie: Love using this to decant water from my blue ‘catch’ barrel to my ‘fill the watering can’ mini tank. Just make sure you get your inlet and outlet the right way around. You know very quickly if you haven’t. 😀

Amazon Customer: I bought this to drain the last 6” of water from my swim spa. I works as advertised. Used a 3/8 electric drill and mounted the pump to a piece of wood. It’s that simple. It uses what looks like a small outboard boat motor impeller to pump.

crazylare: I've purchased several drill pumps from box stores, and online and it seems that they work great the first time and then never really work again after that. I've tried every possible way to preserve them so that they would function later.. but nothing really works. I've taken them a part and found that the shaft has broke loose inside on the impeller.
This pump however is durable and has worked several times so far, I purchased a second one just to have a back up because when I need a drill pump I need one now. I went to a local box store and paid twice as much for a pump than this one.. it worked great, put it away using the method it mentioned in the package instructions.. went to use it a few months later and it's junk.
I'd recommend this pump all day!! I have used the first one I bought off and on for about a year now, it works everytime!

eric paquette: This pump lasted me about 3 months of irregular use. I would drain 5-25 liters of hydraulic oil with it, exclusively. Had a setup where it was kept primed all the time. Took it apart to grease and service it many time and still, it crapped out. On the other hand, seller sent me a replacement free of charge on the spot. This pump works great when it does. I think hydraulic fluid is to heavy for it, even if it’s warm. The replacement they sent has not been used for hydraulic fluid but for water. I have taken it apart to apply extra silicone grease. Moves a good amount of water quickly. Make sure to open and add grease often. It will prolong the service life.
