V. J. D.: This product is the worst. I am returning it whether I am refunded or not. I don't want it. I downloaded it to my computer and I get an error message saying it cannot complete and I should call this toll free # listed. When I call the # a recorded message says the # is not in service. Then someone calls me from Georgia saying they're from McAfee and what's my problem. When I explain about the error msg they connect me to the rudest agent I have ever spoken to and the next thing I know there is another person on the line saying he is a tech and he's gonna fix the problem. He says he can fix the problem but he had to remotely access my computer. I allow him too and then he gives me a spill that my IP addr has been hacked and it can be taken care of for a lifetime but he cannot do it he can connect me to a microsoft tech but it will cost me $499.I say I can't pay that and he says no no you only have to pay 299.50 and still I say no and he says can I pay 100. It is a total ripoff. When I say no to paying anything he says my computer is gonna crash in x amount of months. I cannot believe Amazon deals with these creeps.

Amazon Customer: Had a problem with the installation and contacted McAfee Helpline. 'Susan' in Chennai was excellent and we got it installed. Running well now and seems to be doing its job.

P. G.: There is some false advertising here. The product says that it protects unlimited devices but it does not state what level of protection it provides. I installed this on my mobile device and it asked me to pay additional $29.99 for premium feature. It does have a lot of basic features like find my device, remote erase and AV scanning which is all you will need but still, McAfee / Vendor selling this product needs to be clear when selling stuff of what is the scope of the product. I gave it 4 stars just for the advertising, though the product is amazing and extremely simple to setup on PC and on mobile device.

I would advice everyone to go to McAfee first, create your account, then use the Redeem retail code from My Accounts to add the key code that you received from this product. That way, you can manage your device and get better control over things through McAfee including the find my device.

John R. Costa: I was using another anti-virus and was hit with a Adobe Flash Trojan. Not being on my toes, I allowed the program to be installed and and ended up with the computer flooded with malware. The anti-virus not only failed to block it, it failed to detect it with a pop-up saying the “file was safe”. Running a full scan failed to detect it, let alone remove it. Fortunately I have HitmanPro and Malwarebytes on the computer and they both detected the Trojan or I would not have known that the computer was infected. Unfortunately, they were the free versions and did not block the download. I ended up activating HitmanPro and running both programs several times to get rid of the malware

So I decided to try McAfee, wondering if it would be any better, well it definitely is. Was attacked by the same Adobe Flash Trojan and McAfee blocked it right away. Also since running McAfee our computers boot faster and there is less Internet junk when I use clean up tools. So five stars for McAfee, too bad I wasn't using it from the start.

I've tried several other brands including Norton Antivirus, and conclude that McAfee does the best job of keeping my computer protected from the latest virus threats without bogging it down. It also includes other useful features which run very smoothly, including McAfee Site Advisor. The program is intuitive and straightforward, whereas I've found other programs difficult to use. It comes with a key card, so you will need to set-up a McAfee.com account to download the program. The website shows all of your McAfee programs, available licenses and expiration dates. McAfee will try to sell you the new version when the current version is expiring. Do not purchase the renewal through McAfee unless you want to spend money unnecessarily. Buy the newest version through Amazon for the best price - I've been doing this for the last 3 years. The 2016 version not only includes 3 computer subscriptions, you also have access to protection for all of your mobile devices, making it an unbeatable value as well.

J. O.: I had the McAfee internet protection only before and it was alright, not great. I took a chance, before my year subscription was about to expire and i needed to renew it. Instead; i bought the Total Protection here on Amazon and believe me; there is a lot difference when you purchase this product as supposed to downloading it from the internet directly from McAfee. I love the way it works, it's more effective and it has less problems than the one i had prior to this one. It's worth buying it. I used to have Norton, but it always had some issues including all kind of viruses deactivating it and infecting my computer, Norton is now, way too out of fashion hackers have found their way to use a backdoor to enter the computers, McAfee on the other hand it's really keeping up to date securing the computers. I used to have on my computer at my job in law enforcement, our computers never got infected with malware, bugs, worm, viruses, spyware or any other malicious coded internet run software. I highly recommend it, if you really like to go on the internet trouble less.

JF: Great product, easy to install on almost any device except BlackBerry. On- line support was excellent but may not be necessary to use the service, because it does its thing well.
