Vanessa: I’ve had kaspersky for 8 years and have always bought it directly through them so when I read the Amazon reviews saying it didn’t work I was pretty nervous but you can’t beat their price so I took my chances. I had a week left on my subscription so instructions said to login to kaspersky and put the new code in so it could automatically switch over once the other one expired. It never switched over. On my kaspersky account it said something about there being a problem with my credit card or something so I went into the kaspersky program and deleted the old code then input the new code and everything was great. I bought Total Security for 3 computers so had to do it for each one (I only put it on 2 computers; a Mac laptop & a Windows desktop) with no issues. It’s a 3 year subscription and I didn’t have a problem with it shorting me any days. I suspect most people that had an issue was due to user error or impatience. As for the actual software, I’ve never had an issue in 8 years and have always trusted Kaspersky to take care of any viruses or vulnerabilities and it seems to have always done it’s job. Rick Massei: I am an IT Profession at a well known HiTech company so understanding the in/outs of software applications when it comes to Security applications and support is my primary concentration of my position. As for my at home personal devices I will research extensively prior to deciding on what product I purchase so when my Subscription to Total AV (5Stars) expired and they jacked up the price I began researching in earnest to replace it. So knowing the reputation of Kaspersky as a one stop shop for Internet Security/Anti-Virus applications I proceeded to purchase a 2yr renewable Total Security from them which proved to be a total mistake, I am actually uninstalling at the time of this review and foregoing the 2nd year and the few months remaining on the first year service due to many factors, most of which lays with the "LACK" of technical/customer support for issues I ran into from day one in December of 2019 which have never been addressed. You heard me, I submitted a dozen trouble tickets for the issues I encountered and never even received a return email from Kaspersky. E.Swope: A few months ago I lost my desktop. I had thought it was yet another bad Microsoft update, having had that difficultyy in the past. It died a couple of days after MS stopped supporting Windows 7, whichjh my son told me was a fasvored time for hackers to attack. Because of the shut down my desktop is still inoperative. When I got a replacement the first thing I did was to strip off the virus scanner which came on it, which I know to hog memory so badly that it is like having a virus, and to put on Kaspersky, which was the only commercial program to identify and eradicate one of thje particlarly bad viruses circulatying a number f years ago.

KJaspersky total sedcurity is much more than a virus scanner. It protects you in a number of ways, some fairly new (as sopmeone whjo has used htis program many times before). I had been foolish and not renewed my license on my desktop, thinking... I never had a virus. I had not considered that I did not ever have a virus because I was running Kaspersky.
