Artem: There are tons of sellers of Kaspersky licenses on Ebay claiming that they are "official resellers", but they are nothing but trouble selling you incorrect activation codes which you cannot use since they do not work, so then you struggle for a refund. Kaspersky offer their licenses on their offical WEB site at $127 for 3 PC / 2 years protection, but here you can get it for $40 - what a great deal! And everything is legit and works like a charm. Way to go folks!

Sergey K.: I've been with Kaspersky for many years now. Their "Internet Security" edition provides a good balance of protection and is easy to use on my Macbook and Windows PC. I like that this product tends to take care of itself — it saves more time and is light-weight unlike other competitors that I've used. I normally renew the 1yr. license for 3 devices as it is a good bargain. I find myself not even needing to install a new version for the next year as I am happy with the current software and the license code is working on the previous one (I think it should auto-update itself anyways — see what I mean?). You can find the code in your Amazon 'Digital media library' from Your Orders. The 'quick scan' of the file system does not always work on the mac but there's always a notification if there is a threat on a website. You should look in their settings for those which make the most sense for your environment and preference. Great product & price overall!

Greg: I work in cyber for a Fortune 200 company and do a lot of network forensics and malware related forensics. No AV will catch everything as they are all more or less using pattern matching. They do have some intelligence for catching new stuff, but that always scores low by comparison. However, Kaspersky does a great job of keeping the defs up to date with what they find in their honeypots, and what is submitted to them, and with low false positive rates. In all the professional testing sites, free to review, and ones that are not, they are always a top contender, if not on top. I always suggest that people run an anti-exploit tool, such as EMET (no longer really available/updated since Windows 10) as added protection.

No AV will catch everything. So what do you do to minimize risk on Windows and Mac?
1) If you did not go looking for it, do not click/install it. I do not care if it is your favorite website and it says you need to update flash... do not do it on that site! Go to Adobe and do it, or better yet get rid of Flash, oh and Java!
2) If you get an email that seems urgent, do not click the link or open the attachment. Call the business that "sent it" and ask...

Jason S.: Kaspersky Internet Security ESD - 3 Device [PC/Mac Online Code ]. After getting a virus on my late 16 MacBook Pro, which was purchased about a year ago after having an early 11 MBP, the whole time completely malware free with the simple free version of MalwareBytes. But 2 weeks ago I got one of the viruses that has been hitting Macs, and had to go to the Apple store and get my computer restored completely. So I had learned my lesson and decided to to get paid protection for my MacBook and started my research by reading all of the reviews, and settled on this product. I'm more savvy than the usual user as a smart home professional, so I looked up what problems people were having and covered some basic settings recommended by Apple myself, then got this product first thing and installed it on 3 devices. I then started having problems again, and when malware gets onto your device it does not take it's sweet time, so I knew I needed immediate help. I even purchased their "secure connection" product for another $35, which is essentially their VPN.
