H.SnyderH.Snyder: Irony aside, the tools within the kit are aesthetically pleasing and worth the money. But the outside plastic of my case was broken when I opened it. Nothing that a little pretty tape couldn't fix.
Personally, I love that the tools are clear, and you get a few different goodies like a compass and an eraser. If someone asked me, I'd recommend they get the set anyway.

Jane JonesJane Jones: I purchased this set to help with the drawings and sketches that I do to make jewelry designs that I make into beaded projects. I like the compass to make an even curve and the rest help with the design too. The case makes it easy for me to carry this helpful tool with me when I am out sketching. This set was a great value for the money and met my needs.

bmccune: As a math teacher I am always looking for inexpensive sets like this to keep in the classroom. This kit has everything you need for drawing, geometry, and light drafting. I like that the compass has a cap for the tip to keep it sharp and protect it from being damaged. One of the greatest features is that the compass uses a mini mechanical pencil. This is much more precise and easier to use than the ones that hold a lead plug that become dull and change arc as they wear down. The only problem that is inherent to this type of compass is that the joints need to be kept tight in order to prevent slippage when drawing arcs and circles. Overall inexpensive but a good bang for the buck.
