Rain: These steps are Exactly as advertised so I can't complain. My one pit bull is terrified of them and my other one simply refuses to use them. My mini-doxie is using them more and more and my other 3 little guys are thinking about using them anyway. Because of the light color, the carpeting strips on top do get dirty easily so we have washed them once so far outside and they now look great again. They are exactly as advertised so if you like how they are described and shown in photos, then you should like them in person as well.

Luci J.: My 60 lb. Bully is my constant companion. She's slept on the foot of my bed since the very first night she came to me. At that time she was 30 lbs. and I could boost her bottom without issue. Due to excellent diet and proper exercise, she bulked up, doubled in weight, and became a strain to boost. I chose this model of pet steps due to their versatility despite the (holy cow!) cost. but it's a good design, so I guess that's why blown plastic can fetch a pretty penny. Now I gave it only four stars for two reasons; First, The two main components, after assembly are only held together by the long piece of carpet tread held on by velcro strips, which is not adequate support for any orientation. Second; Said velcro strips are mounted to the steps by small screws only, resulting in the carpet tread pulling away. My fix will require a bonding agent for the velcro to hold to the step. I would have given five stars if the company had not cheaped-out on these two points. At this price, it should not have to be tweaked by me, the customer. It is a good design and was the best choice for me with what's on the market.

Kim B: I have a tall king size bed, and my smaller dog has trouble jumping high enough for it. I’ve tried other puppy steps, but they were either flimsy or not tall enough. This is perfect. It is versatile. There are multiple different ways to put it together. I choose to have it wrap around the end of my bed like the product photo. My dogs took to it immediately.

There is one con. The instructions for assembly are a nightmare. It’s not entirely clear what goes where. This is actually made worse by the multiple ways to put it together. It can be easy to lose your place and get the various instructions confused. On the other hand, if my mother and I can figure it out, anyone can.

Overall, this has been an excellent product. Despite the assembly issues, having something that helps my dog get on the bed whenever he likes without lifting him up myself has been worth it.

Michele: My dog is a 10-year-old dachshund/chihuahua mix, so she's very long and short legged. She was also born with a right front paw deformity which has basically rendered her a 3-legged dog. Her mobility is getting worse. My bed is 27-28 inches tall, so having steps is essential. (Heck, I have to use a 4-inch step stool to get into bed!) Until recently she used a set of steps that were steeper, only had 3 steps, and fell short of my bed by six inches. Lately she had fallen off of them and was terrified to use them so I was so excited to find these. They were delivered on time, but I could tell right away that the packing box was not great. Like the cardboard was literally falling apart. The assembly required putting together two different products (a 2-stair stepper and a 3-stair stepper) then putting those two together, and there were separate assembly instructions for each with their own parts list. Unfortunately, both products had parts with the same part numbers that were not necessarily the same shape (i.e. 2 part "A"s, 3 part "B"s, with no indication which set of steps it was for.) The parts list also did not state how many of each part there was. Some parts were easy to...

Ardis Lerner: It arrived in a large box with a few smaller pieces in white garbage bags. There was no other packing material and the larger pieces were somewhat scuffed up. There were no assembly instructions or even an invoice. Not impressed, however, it does serve the purpose and my toy poodle is using it.

Marcia Clemance: My husband and I actually thought the stairs were made out of wood. It was a surprise to see that they are plastic. However, we love them. So easy to put together. The stairs are on an angle and our cat gets up and down them so easily.

violet dragon: These stairs worked out so well. Our 2 dachshunds go up and down them with ease. They took to them right away. I like the fact that they are light, makes it easy to move them when it's time to make the bed.
