JohnD: The stairs are easy to set up and outside is quick to take off for cleaning. It is also firm enough to make it easy for my older dog (14 years old) to get up on the couch. It does slide around though, so I had to use some additional supports to keep it from moving around.

Amazon Customer: Love so much about these steps. Perfect size for our dog and the color goes nicely in our living room. The only problem is it moves out of place if you so much as breathe on it. A non skid finish on the bottom would make this item perfect.

HELPFUL REVIEWER 👍🏻HELPFUL REVIEWER 👍🏻: We have 4 cats and 1 small ShihTzu. Our senior cat (15-16yrs) recently started showing signs of osteoarthritis in her back legs which has made it difficult for her to do her normal jumping to get to our low couch or bed. I bought two of these 2-step steps in gray (to match our decor) and she took to it immediately along with our other pets. I like that it’s not bulky and unsightly. It’s made well and is the perfect product to help our older cat and small dog so she doesn’t get injured while trying to jump up or down. It’s easy to “assemble” as you just zip it up. You can unzip and lay flat under the bed if need be. I’m very happy with this purchase!!

KellyKelly: Honestly, these are fantastic! I bought two for the points on our couch/chair where my doggo jumps up. They don’t slip around. My dog is 25 pounds, but I, a full grown human, can also step on these and they don’t give much at all. I would say, they are probably good up to 150 pounds of canine !

Pat: My 18-pound dog had a hard time with other options because they were too narrow to climb down comfortably. This one is great, even though it's a bit soft. The steps are a little wider. The fabric is an attractive plain grey which easily blends into decor of the room. Our dog has joint issues but was willing to use it right away and now it's regularly helping him get up and down from his spot on the foot stool. It was easy to put together. The only issue we have is that it moves fairly easily so for our dog, who's skittish anyway, he wouldn't have used it. It would benefit from having a skid-proof pad under it. Problem was solved easily enough by wrapping a bungee cord around the bottom to hold it in place to the stool.
