Samuel Price: Our cat cannot jump as high as she used to. The stairs allow her to look out thr window just as if she had jumped up. Also coming down is so much easier for her now. Just walk down the stairs. She really loves her stairs.

Darian: This is SUPER study (even with one missing screw). I bought this for my cat with arthritis in her front legs and shoulders so she could get up to our talk bed without hurting herself. This was the perfect height for our very tall bed. I could go up and down these stairs without making it even slightly wobble. That is even with a missing screw in on of the legs - my fault for dropping the screw and not being able to find it. The stairs are also super soft so our kitty loves rubbing up against the stairs or just sitting on them.

Nancy Ennen: We purchased the grey stairs. It was so easy to assemble that my 11-year-old son was able to do most of it with my supervision. (He's super proud of himself now. :D ) These are the perfect solution for our senior cat now that she's starting to have a hard time climbing up on my bed. It's sturdy and doesn't take up a lot of space. This is a great product at a great price!

Inez Waddell: The unit arrived promptly. Easy to assemble.
Sturdy as it could be expected to be.
Suits our purpose.
One thing, ugly screws with no plastic covers detract from what otherwise would be a nice looking unit.
Including plastic covers for the screw heads would be a great addition.

Aethelflead Mèrida: Our little furry baby is 12 years old and although she loves to jump everywhere, during the night sometimes she wants to jump off the bed and it's kind of high. She already had a bad hip since she was a puppy so I didn't want her to injure herself. For that reason I decided it was time to get her some stairs for the bed. My husband assembled it easily and it's perfect for her. Our bed is relatively high from the ground and the stairs are at a perfect height. We have a foam mattress and a box spring to give an idea. We are training her to take the stairs. She's not totally sold on the idea but she'll get there. Those stairs could support me! I was trying to show her they were nice. Haha. The product arrived before the date and in great condition.

Mumto2: We are SO happy with these stairs. This is the fifth (!) set of stairs we’ve tried, as well as a ramp, and this is exactly what we’ve been searching for. They are sturdy, the perfect height, and the way they are built is so nice because you can see through them. It’s not like having something SOLID at the end of our bed. So visually it doesn’t seem to take up as much space. We’ve had foam stairs, plastic stairs, wooden stairs, fold out stairs and the ramp. These stairs are perfect! Our dog finally can get on and off our bed with CONFIDENCE!! Just buy them, these are the ones you are looking for.

Precise DisarrayPrecise Disarray: I think how well this style will work for you will depend on the needs of your animal. Works great for my elderly cat who at 18 has some arthritis in in rear legs. He goes up and down them just fine. Very sturdy! I can lean on the steps and am not concerned with it falling apart.

Height: 29" (as tall as most desks)
Width: 15.5" roughly
Depth: 23.5"
There are 4 steps contained within that 23.5" base & 29" height.
The height from step to step is 7" (bottom of one step to top of the next), and
The depth of the step is 8", but since there is a little overhang from step above, then I would say 6.5". Keep this in mind as it may not be deep enough for some dogs to comfortably navigate the steps. I think most cats could handle this. In short: consider how much clearance they need.

This is a TALL 29" unit. Is same height as most desks and some beds. The material is a smooth almost plush feel. Some animals may do better with a carpet style. If you have cats and are familiar with the Furhaven self warmer pads, or have Amarkat items, then the material is the same. I have no idea if a dog would use this. Emily RoseEmily Rose: I have only just assembled these so I can’t comment on longevity but I am really impressed with this item out of the box. I have a 10 year old cat who has started to show some signs of arthritis in her legs and a bit of difficulty jumping up on my bed, so I wanted to buy some stairs to make it easier on her. Most of the options I found were plastic or wood and didn’t go with my decor at all, so I was really happy to find these even though I had to pay a bit more for shipping to Australia. The stairs seem sturdy and were easy to assemble. My cat is 5-6kg and I have no concern about them supporting her, they could probably support a small child. The plush covering is very soft! I have already prompted my cat to go up and down them a few times and she’s gotten the hang of it, so I’m hopeful this will take stress off her legs.
