Farhad2009: The primary issue with this product is its functionality, particularly when used with an M1 MAC system. While it initially supports dual monitor functionality via the MacOS InstantView app, the device fails to maintain the connection when the MAC enters sleep mode. This results in a complete loss of connection, requiring a manual and time-consuming process to reconnect the hub and reactivate the monitors every time. This is not only inconvenient but also significantly diminishes the product's usability.

Furthermore, my attempt to resolve this issue directly with the seller has been met with silence. Their lack of responsiveness has left me with no choice but to return the product and advise potential customers to reconsider purchasing this item.

Farah: I needed this to quickly connect and disconnect my old HP Envy from 2016 to hdmi monitors and ergonomic keyboard. Install was maybe 2 minutes to get and install the driver. Used it for a couple of hours today and so far so good! This device is especially helpful to me as my laptop doesn't have a USB-C connection so I'm glad it was out there for me to find. Device did get a little warm but not enough for me to worry.

Charlie Klunder: I got this Hub to extend my Surface Pro 7 to two external displays. When I got it, it worked great. My setup consisted of the hub plugged into my computer via a USB-C and the Hub breaks out into two HDMI ports for my external monitors, a keyboard, and a wired mouse. The Hub allows all to work simultaneously. After a while the Hub ceased facilitating both monitors. Only one HDMI port was working and only one monitor (the one plugged into the working port) would display anything. I contacted their customer support and after helping me to troubleshoot the problem on the software side (which unfortunately seemed not to be the problem) they sent me a new one and it works just fine.

Sabrina Jabas: Exactly what I needed. For home office to be able to switch between private laptop and work laptop and extend both on a second screen. A third screen seems to be possible as well (via HDMI only)
Bluetooth mouse and keyboard could picked up straight away. The second screen did need the installation of the driver.
Fairly straight forward. Work laptop has USB-C connection and private only USB, therefore this was the perfect solution for me that didn't cost an arm and a leg.

Sierra: I'm happy with the product. It does what I need: connect multiple monitors. Although the adapter gets warm when used, I wouldn't consider it dangerous. Occasionally, it pops up a loading screen on the connected monitors, but it's really only a minor annoyance. I think it's worth the price.

Asmodahlia: It works seamlessly as long as you follow the instructions for downloading the driver before attempting to use. I could see this being very useful to many. However, it didn't work with my particular setup because one of my two monitors requires a refresh rate over 60 Hz, which appears to be throttled by this hub. If you plug your monitor in and it turns on but the screen looks glitchy or flashes black intermittently, this is likely the case for you as well. You may be able to fix it by adjusting the refresh rate manually, but the highest it can go appears to be 60 Hz, so if your monitor requires more than that this will likely not function for you.
That being said, it should still be a perfect fit for most users, particularly business users (my monitor just happens to be a high-end gaming monitor, which would not usually be the case for most).

Trina Stewart: So you have to download a file to use it. The file is sketchy and my computer asked me multiple times if I was sure I wanted to download it, but it worked. Just hope I don’t get a virus.

J. WuJ. Wu: Bought this one month ago. There are two serious problems:
1. Once the Type C cable is plugged to my laptop, the laptop keeps having "USB not working properly" notifications, although it seems working. 2. If I let my laptop go to sleep, once it wakes up, the monitors connected through the hub will turn on and then go dark (often, but not every time). I have to flip open the laptop to see desktop. But seems the dark-screen monitors are still connected though without display. Finally, each time I have to restart the computer to make the connected monitors work. Apparently, there're some inherent hardware and embedded software issues.
Thought about returning it. But then found out the return window closed yesterday.
Contact seller. They are to send me a replacement cable. Finger crossed.
Update: The replacement has the similar problem (item #1 above). Got into contact with tech support and tried to pinpoint the cause with his help. As it turned out, in "Device Manager", under "Universal Serial Bus controllers", there is an error message "Unknown USB Device (Port Reset Failed". See attached screenshot.
