Maria Isabela: My son loved it.

Michelle Simonson: Love this game, a little hard for my 6 year old, I had to myself go see walkthroughs on the net. Overall really cool, each map has 5 levels and represents one of the movies, weve been watching the films at the same time and its lots of fun. Arrived in the original case, cd wasnt scratched.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I bought this item for my daughter and saved it for Christmas. The disc will not read. No amount of troubleshooting would fix it. What a disappointment for my daughter as a Christmas gift. Wish I hadn’t bought it.

Eric: My kids like this game!

M. Ledyard: I like the Lego series of movie-based games. I've played all of them except the Lord of the Rings, which came out recently. My general complaint is that the levels are fairly easy to beat, and for true gamers, don't provide enough of a challenge. They're designed for older children, though, and that age group will love it. There is some level of violence, as you're using swords and guns, but the lego characters just fall to pieces. There's no blood or anything. I like the visual effects in this game, and the scenery is very detailed. Like the other Lego games, there are many unlockable items to find, and a host of diverse characters which add variety to the gameplay. I docked it 1 star because I felt like there was not as much playable content in this game as in previous games. Of course, Star Wars, the Complete Saga, went through six movies, and Harry Potter covered 8. So compared to those, there is not as much in this one. I also tend to wait a while after the games drop in price. I would not pay full retail for the Lego series games, or for any game for that matter.

Amber M. Anderson: I love the lego games, and this is another great one.

The good (for me): this one is much like the star wars and the (original) Indiana Jones ones. Very easily playable by all levels of players but with cute funny cut scenes, lots of adventure, easy puzzles, and a whole lot of fun smashing legos to get coins and buy stuff. I love the ease and sense of accomplishment and shear fun of these games! By contrast, I actually did not like the Harry Potter version...it had a lot less smash and grab and fight scenes and more puzzles. I like thinking games (Portal, Safecracker, etc), but I don't really want to mess with it in the lego games which to my mind are a whole other kind of fun. This game is much more a return to the previous philosophy.

The bad: Some glitches (on the Wii version at least). I've found some objects fly off where they are very hard to get to (some of the hats) even though I don't think the developers intended that. Also, I've occasionally gotten characters into locations they can't jump back out of and had to either keep jumping until chance popped me out or I gave up and restarted the level. In a similar way, I had an enemies (particularly in the fight...

HDT: My 10 year old son loves this game. We purchased it for the Nintendo Wii the day it came out since he had waited anxiously for it's release.

In the beginning you start out in the game just as the 1st of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies starts out. You begin playing as Will, in your blacksmith shop making swords. Suddenly Captain Jack Sparrow (Lego version of course) appears and you begin to duel with swords. Each time you accomplish something in the game, or you complete a level, you watch part of the Lego version of the movie. You are actually watching the entire Pirates of the Caribbean movie done with Lego characters.

After you have completed certain areas of the game, Jack is then added to your character wheel of people you can play as in the game. As you go along, more and more characters are added to the wheel. Each level offers something new and it is by no means a game that is so simple it could be completed in a single day. It offers challenges, but is not frustrating. You actually get to play through the whole movie as you go along, so you have an idea from watching the movies what you need to do next. Having the two player option is great and a lot of...
