Andy D.Andy D.: My fluval stock Light wire failed. I had already retrofitted 2 of the actinic strips into the hood. I ordered 2 of the blue/red/white and 2 white. Installation is easy the strips have holes for mounting... so I just drilled holes and used nuts and bolts to attach. Images show the 3 different bulbs independently and when they are all on. I run them on separate channels using the available timer/dimmer with a 12 hour lighting cycle including 2 full hours ramp up And down.

Marvin HenryMarvin Henry: Nice lights. Easy to install. I used velcro and placed them on the inside wooden lid of my tank. I ordered both the cool and warm white. You can see the difference in my photo. The warm light is yellow while the cold is bright white. I like the warm white better as it enhances the tank colors. The warm white is on left, cold on right, the difference is easy to see so order both the same color if you need two. I will be ordering another. A great alternative to expensive aquarium led lights that don't last!!!
