LAWOHO Solar-Powered Water Fountain Pump

Red Rider 1: I purchased this to just try it out on an outdoor water feature I am trying to work out in back yard, so far it is working very nicely, but I do wish it pulled a bit more water. Though it is small and I will begin looking for their next size up for our new 125 gal pond.

Gudrun Bender: I have not unpacked this yet; it is the same I received used from my daughter. Ordered a new one for an additional fountain come spring because the old one just runs so well! With very little sun it still bubbles away.

Mary Miller: This product works great in direct sun but if the shade takes it over, it stops. I was hoping it would store some of the power.
So if only in the sun, it will work great.

Mombie: Lovely little fountain . When it's cloudy or the sun's not on it ,it looks a little depressed and just spirts water but when the sun hits it the water goes quite high. Just remember to keep topping up the bowl or what ever your using with water though, unless of course you are putting it in a pond.

Annie: Important to remember that if you pond is in the shade for portions of the day, your fountain will not run. The fountain obviously does not work in the evening. This means no water circulation for the fish or other features in your pond. The fountain only works in FULL sun.

Shelly420: This pump definitely has its pros & cons. The pros are that it's inexpensive, and really pumps the water through it creating at times at least a 16-18" high stream of water. The cons are that if there is no sun, it doesn't work. It doesn't retain power that it can use later. If it's cloudy sometimes I will get intermittent bursts of water which isn't a bad thing, or none at all which is. One other con is that when it's really sunny out that fountain is powerful. So much so that it spews the water right out of the birdbath & onto the ground. What this means for me is that if I want my fountain going all day I have to refill it 2-4 times a day depending on just how sunny it is. If you don't mind refilling a few times a day on a sunny day, this is an inexpensive fountain that actually works.

O.k over 1 week later, I can say that this process has been a convoluted nightmare.... I ordered this product in hopes to make a friend happy. He has wanted a solar powered fountain for 4 years but they are not available in stores, (likely because no one would purchase such a tiny cheap product for the price IF they saw how tiny and cheap the fountain is in REAL life making it a borderline SCAM.

We order the fountain and it comes relatively fast, like a week. We try to assemble it and clearly the F part that came with the box that was shipped is not included in the miniature plastic parts that we received. ODD. My first contact with customer service was friendly, albeit very unclear. The CS agent was certain that we either we received all the parts and warned us that re-sending the parts would take months (why? the first shipment took 4 days).

Fast froward to the next series of emails where we have to show a photo that the parts received are not matching the already confusing instructions with no copy, just somewhat conflicting hierarchy style flow charts....
