LD: This item seems to work well except for the leaks. I am on my 3rd one, 1st two leaked, I just put #3 in today and I will have to wait and see if it's OK. If this one has any problems I will try another brand. I will update this review when I have tried it out for a few days.
We'll after two days it leaked at the hadle again. I sent the third one back for leaks. I went to Canadian Tire and picked up one for half the price. It has everything on it I need and fits better on my toilet also. No leaks so far after 4 days. It seems to be a better deal. It is made by Brondell and also sold at Home Depot.

PGCPGC: The media could not be loaded.  Very functional and practical. Only buy bathroom tissue once a year now (pack of 6) as you don't need it. Installed one of these on all the toilets in the house. You may need to explain to guests how to use it if they are not familiar with Bidets. Ambient water so no electric outlet required. Kohler made this one easy to install and use. Everyone in the family has expressed the Bidet beats paper, much cleaner than🧻too....

Hine: I agree with what most of the other reviewers say. The fact that the seat moves a bit when installed makes it feel cheap. Also, unlike other KOHLER products, the plastic feels light and flimsy. I also agree that the pressure is low. I had one of the $50 bidet attachment things before, and the pressure was quite high, but with this KOHLER product, I had to use the nozzle for houses with low water pressure. It's fine with that nozzle, but if you actually had low water pressure in your house, this probably would not work. Also, the opening is very small. A big person would have trouble using this. I should also mention that it did not fit one of our elongated seat KOHLER toilets which has a curved join between the tank and the pedestal, and so I had to install it on another older KOHLER toilet we have. Check your toilet product number before ordering.

The installation was very easy, much easier than with the previous bidet. I probably spent half an hour all together but, but if I was doing it a second time, it could be done in ten minutes. The components are well made.

Jeff L.: It sounds silly, but my wife and I both agree that this bidet seat is life changing! It's so nice to feel clean after using the toilet. This seat has to be the most elegant bidet seat ever, it's easy to install and works like a charm. We are not large people, but average sized adults and have no issues with the slightly smaller opening in the seat. The blast of cold water was a bit of a shock the first couple of times, but we got accustomed to it very quickly. The lever control allows you to move the nozzle wand forward and back for a full clean. We use 1/4th the amount of T.P. as previously, feel so clean, and have eliminated the itchy/scratchy/irritated backside that goes with using only T.P. When we've needed to use a toilet away from home, we both realize how much we like having this bidet seat!

The seat comes off easily for cleaning, although the mounting bracket that stays in place on the toilet is a bit difficult to clean because of a lot of grooves and indentations. That's my only negative. After 3 months, we've had absolutely zero problems with any "dirt" getting on the retracting spray nozzle. The seat does wiggle very slightly, but no more than the other...

JAS32: This is a simple bidet seat cover but since it is offered by and branded as a Kohler, maybe my expectations are a bit high. For the price it is probably what I should expect.

The toilet seat is a bit flimsy and made of a relatively thin plastic which tends to bend and flexes when used. It doesn't give you a good feeling that it will last a long time. It is a perfect fit to my Kohler toilet.

Functionally it works quite well. The design is relatively simple. Maybe they could have shortened the tilting/control lever to be less obtrusive, Also I wished they included a T-water adapter with a valve (instead of without one). I strongly recommend using a valved T-adapter (as some other reviewers did) not only so you can easily turn it off when kids may play with it, but also to regulate the strength of the water jet, particularly in places with high water pressure. It makes using it easier since you can just turn on the bidet to max and you automatically have the desired water pressure.

Mot: The unit is well made and the fittings are Kohler quality. This can range from average to above average but functions well and doesn’t leak. It’s easy to install. There are three interchangeable fittings if you want more pressure and a flow restrictor can be removed from the water inlet. It’s a straight forward and novel approach to wand angle with the moveable handle. In a biscuit colored Kohler toilet it disappears visually so that is pleasing. In order to make room for the valve the elongated toilet seat opening is reduced to more of a standard small opening so for larger people that are used to the elongated opening know this one will be smaller. I have used other bidet that I liked better however this one integrates into the toilet and bathroom much better. I’m pleased with the purchase.

reggers: I’ve always loved going to some high end hotels and finding an electric bidet toilet. It makes cleaning up so much more thorough. I didn’t think I could have one since I didn’t have an electric outlet near any of my toilets. I had heard a commercial about attachments to existing toilet seats. When I researched them, they looked clunky and just ugly since they are mostly visible.

When I found the whole bidet toilet seat i was amazed. I did some research and settled on the Kohler puretide it looked great and sounded like it fit my needs. My only concern was that it didn’t heat the water but that was a small concern since I live in Hawaii - warm year round.

Installation took about 20 minutes for each bathroom and that included removing the existing regular toilet seats. The connections were very easy to do and it looks great in the bathroom. The only thing that looks out of the ordinary is the handle and that’s fine - it’s easy to reach and maneuver when you’re using it.
