Sunnderella: I have bought two different brands of hygienic cushions on Amazon and the other one works perfectly without any noise.
But this one is very noisy, it starts to make noise when you sit on it, and there is a delayed noise after using it. In desperation, I can only add a remote control socket, which can be turned on and used when needed, and turned off when not needed.

Angela: I went to Japan and was instantly converted. You will not regret this purchase. Installation was a snap, pressure and heat control work very well and lots of position options. Air isn't powerful enough to dry but is pleasant. Heated seat in the winter is absolutely perfect.

A.Dub.Alva: Our bathroom set up is such that we couldn’t run a line from sink to toilet for hot water so we had to buy and electric unit. Idaho winters are cold and the pipes I our 95 year old house are insulted enough to prevent freezing but not much more. I have Reynaud’s (exposure to cold causes vasospasm / blood vessels to contract.) When this happens to my finger tips it feels like getting hit with a hammer. When it happened to my nipples the first time I, the pain in my poor little black nips made me want for death. I can’t imagine what that would feel like on the back foot or lady bits. So for me, warm water in a bidet was worth the price two fold (especially during the great TP hoarding pandemic of 2020). Could you get warm water with other units for less? Yes, but the bum blow dryer is great. Who wants to walk around with clean by wet tush or have to use TO to pat dry when you can get a nice warm breeze on the backside? Not to mention the heated seat that is especially nice for middle of the night tinkling as it avoids that cold seat shock. Daryl: The Toto is great, a must have for our household. But as many others have mentioned, the fittings as provided tend to leak. (So a one star deduction) Toto should fix this for North American sales. To me, it seems like simply providing different washers is all that is needed.

I had leak troubles both above and below the provided T fitting. It is suggested in other reviews that a conical washer can be used above the T fitting. Perhaps a washer removed from a toilet supply tube tube would work.
I used a flat leathery washer I found in a box of plumbing washers of many sizes at Home Depot. (Unfortunately there was only one of those washers in the box.) I think a rubber (better than plastic) garden house washer may also work.
For below the T fitting, being desperate I turned the conical washer in the supply tube upside down. Surprisingly, it worked. (So far) A suitable flat washer, perhaps the same as I used at the top, would clearly be better.

BaldyBaldy: After living in Japan for awhile, we came home definitely wanting to add this convenience to the bathroom. Our first choice about five years ago was a Brondell Swash, which seemed like the better option at the time, probably due to price. However, approximately 30 seconds after the warranty expired, it developed a leak, occurring any time the spritzing wand was activated. It was a relatively minor leak, "solved" by placing a paper towel on the floor next to the toilet. We put up with this for two years. Then about a month ago, power went off to the house, then flickered on and off again rapidly a couple of times--potential bad news for any electronics not protected by a surge protector. It had never occurred to me to use a surge protector for the toilet seat, and, sure enough, the thing was partially zapped. From then on, the remote either didn't work at all, or intermittently. Interestingly, though, when I called Brondell customer service, the first question they asked was whether the seat was leaking, since that can cause problems with the remote. close readerclose reader: When my washlet died recently, I decided to get the top-of-the line washlet from the originator of washlet products - Toto of Japan. I chose the C100 because of the following:
1. Price - on the Toto Web site, this is $599! On Amazon, C100 is less than half that (when I bought it Aug 2016).
2. Round (C200) or Oblong (C100) - I chose the oblong because it is $100 less than the round. My previous washlet was also oblong and I have a round toilet. If I could have afforded it, I would have chosen the round. Why? Because the "bumper" underneath the seat hits on the edge of the toilet. On my old seat, I easily replaced those with over the counter bumpers from the hardware store. However, the Toto bumpers are extremely small and I don't know how I will deal with it if I can't find them that shallow - they will wear out over time (I had my other washlet 15+ years).
3. C100 has the SIDE controls. ONLY on the right-hand side. C200 has the remote control. C200 is $100 more. Side controls are hard to see and some of them are hard to reach, you have to be off of the seat to see the tiny print and controls. For example, the Power Saver and other features.
