BBD: North American culture needs to catch up in a lot of things, but ESPECIALLY personal hygiene. This is the second identical unit I've purchased after 10 years of constant use (and abuse). The previous unit simply wore out but worked very well for almost it's entire service life.
If you want something that is life changing - get a bidet like this one. You'll never go back to wiping like a savage after this.

Sanc33647: This review is based on USA requirements for electrical and plumbing.

1. In the USA it is not common to have an electrical outlet in close proximity to the toilet. In this case you are required to have a 15 AMP GFCI outlet available and it has to be close enough to use the provided power cord as an extension cord cannot be used. The BB-1000 has its power cord fed from the right rear of the item as you are facing the toilet. The power cord is 3' in length. Keep that in mind as you determine where your outlet is to be installed. Keep in mind that the area could be wet or humid depending on how your toilet room is arranged/built. You do not want the GFCI outlet anywhere near where it could be splashed or it will trip immediately. Proper layout will avoid future aggravation.

2. The water feed on the unit itself is made of plastic (possibly nylon) The tee valve provided has metal threads and you must take care to be sure you do not cross thread this as you do the installation. If it does not thread immediately without resistance stop and take a very close look under good lighting to make sure you have those threads properly positioned. El kratos Ω: Después de varios bidets eléctricos por fin encontré uno que si tiene presión, había probado de la marca vovo, toto y otro biobidet bb600 pero la fuerza del agua era bajísima y sentía que me tardaba demasiado en salir del baño para quedar bien limpio, éste aunque no es perfecto, si funciona correctamente la parte de la limpieza.

Cabe mencionar que mi primer bidet fue uno no eléctrico, me encantó porque tenía buena presión de agua pero en invierno el agua es muy fría, así que decidí dar el siguiente paso, adquirir uno que caliente el agua pero me había encontrado con el detalle que ninguno limpiaba como el no electrónico, pero por fin encontré éste que es bueno en esa área.

Aunque me gusta la presión del agua, debo aceptar que la construcción del producto es de baja calidad comparado con la marca toto, el cuál considero es el mejor en ese apartado.

Este sencillamente la tapa y el asiento es muy frágil, aparte de que tiene mucho movimiento aunque lo hayas puesto correctamente en la taza de baño, se siente muy frágil y no dudo que se rompa el asiento con el tiempo.

El kratos Ω: He tenido la oportunidad de probar bidets de marca toto y vovo, creo que esta marca bio bidet al menos este modelo es el de menor calidad, el material es muy endeble, las piezas de instalación también son de bajísima calidad, hasta pensé que me habían enviado un producto erróneo al sacarlo de la caja, era muy ligero y se sentía frágil, procedí a instalarlo pero fue complejo de instalar a pesar de que ya he instalado las marcas anteriores. El empotrar el asiento en su base no es tan sencillo, en otros casos debe hacer click al momento de colocarlo pero este no hace nada de eso, no se mantenía en su lugar, después de un rato lo logré pero no supe que hice diferente después de varios intentos. Tampoco cuenta con un botón para liberar en asiento cuando quieres quitarlo, es extraño.

De todas las funciones que tiene sólo me gustó el que dispara el agua a presión aunque hace un ruido algo fuerte porque supongo enciende un motor para sacar el agua con mayor fuerza, creo que es lo único que me gustó, lástima que todo lo demás falla.

Ahora lo que no me gustó fue prácticamente todo lo demás, voy por partes.

xeuz: I have been using this bidet for about a year now.
We currently have 5 bidets installed throughout the house, all from different manufacturers and different price ranges.

This bidet is one of the cheaper ones in the house. We had two expensive Hyundai bidets that are 10+ years old. One of those was replaced with this bidet.
It serves the main functions you'd expect out of a bidet in this price range: decent heated seat+ water. Comfortable, etc.

There are some major drawbacks however, switching to this from a top class bidet. These include:
1) Lack of saved profiles: I have to manually turn down the water jet pressure down to 1, as well as double click the cleaning button followed by the aerated button.
This means I have to click FIVE times every time I want to use this device!!!! This is very inconvenient (my old bidet would save the settings and only required ONE click for the cleaning combination to be initiated and water pressure wouldn't reset between every use)

Another setback is this this model doesn't come with a remote which can prove problematic as you have to click the buttons on the panel sooooo many times. I think it's only a matter of...

rfriesen: 1) Warm Water:
I wanted a bidet with heated water so economy bidets were out. The water starts out warm and slowly gets less so, but not cold and never unpleasant.

2) Controls:
I thought I should spend more to get unit with a remote with user settings, but I'm glad I didn't. I like that the controls are right next to me and not hidden in menus or on different sides of a remote like others. I find that I like pushing the buttons I want, when I want them. My daughter likes the "kids" button. She's 6 and still yells "can you come check me" because shes worried she didn't get all the poop. She loves knowing she absolutely clean. The Auto button is cool, but I don't use it much. It runs through the gamut of functions with one push and ends with the dryer. Oh, at the start of each use, the nozzle starts in the middle position, water pressure at middle pressure, etc. They're perfect just like that 95% of the time. Makes me wonder what analysis went into figuring out right where to aim for that middle position :).

3) Dryer:
The dryer actually does get you mostly dry. Even though there's still a little dampness, I don't mind, it's just a bit of clean water. Maybe if...
