These toilet seats are a game changer, don't get pulled into the hype that Tushy offers. Their highly overpriced bidets should cost about $30 max. The Brondell Bidet Toilet Seat offers an all-in-one solution that removes the need for the bidet attachments causing weird offsets for your toilet seats, a soft close toilet seat alone can cost $60+, let alone one where you can sit on it.

This package includes everything you need, including a heavy duty T connection for the tank and split line. All very high quality materials and includes the rubber gaskets so you don't need to use tape. Just make sure the gasket hasn't fallen out of the T before installation! If you're familiar with bidet installation this takes about 10-15 minutes to install, that's including removal of the previous one.

Tim, Laurel, MDTim, Laurel, MD: The only dislike was how long it took Amazon to ship out a used, like-new product which was the only one in stock. Three weeks is ridiculous. It was well worth the price, though it was $25 more than the brand new restock units.

Amazon has been honest about its used, like new inventory. I’ve bought two items described as such and they bother were truly like-new. Every part of the bidet was still packeted in the unopened internal plastic bags. The original box was a little tattered, but an effort was made to ensure it safely arrived.

The install was a snap; 30 minutes. The finished work looks better that the original connections. Care was taken to use the meager amount of Teflon tape that came with the it. All connections were hand tightened then snugged up with a minimum of force. When the cutoff valve was reopened it sat for awhile just checking for leaks, and not a drop escaped. It’s been a few weeks now and everything function perfectly and still the joints are dry.

The bidet controls allow for some adjustment for water pressure, and the dual wands are right on target. The selection dial for the area to cleanse is obvious. Roll the dial counter clockwise...

Melanie johnston: Although the company have been nothing but lovely and helpful, the bidet seat was delivered in a damaged box. But I was so excited to have it that I tried to install it. 3 plumbing shops and 2 plumbers/ +2 tradespeople later, it was decided that the fittings do not fit Australian standard fittings. No available part is or can be sourced in australia, (even in a hydraulic shop). A refund has been lodged and sought, but the courier company is not local....which means a booking has to be made...but this has proven difficult. Still awaiting pick up (2nd attempt), which requires you to stay home for an "all day window period".
I am disappointed my purchase has not worked out. I'm sure it would have been a wonderful product, if it functioned the way it was stated to work on the website.

average mum: Has US plumbing fittings NOT UK. Contacted seller to ask for UK kit, was sent link for Brondell and they don't have UK kit either. So you will need US to UK adapters to be able to plumb in UK.

This model replaced a Genie Bidet [ELONGATED] Self Cleaning Dual Nozzle installed in 2017. That Genie has several “issues”:

- one of the two nozzles stopped working

- the seat was uncomfortable after only a few minutes. The rear of the seat was higher than the front, so you lean forward slightly -- and the sitting area sides were obviously narrower than normal.

- you couldn’t lean back on the seat back because it had a sharp ridge.

- the Genie seat front was nearly 1" from the front toilet edge.

The Brondell Ecoseat 101 has none of those problems.

Pros:

- the nozzles exterior is automatically rinsed when the dial is first turned.

- both nozzles are correctly aimed and the cleaning action is effective.

- the Brondell seat is level; the seating area sides are normal width; and it’s as comfortable for long periods as is a standard non-bidet seat.

- the seat top looks appears as any good quality seat top and lowers itself slowly.

- the control is a non-obtrusive dial. Off is in the middle.

- the supplied stainless steel braided water...
