Michael Hustus: I have never been fond of any canned meats. Not chicken, beef, not even most fish.

But I was talked into trying this Kirkland's brand Canned Chicken. And I am so happy I allowed them to talk me into it. Because it is phenomenal.

I have been using Costco rotisserie chicken for chicken salad for at least a decade. And I didn't think it could get any better than that, and I know it sounds absurd, but honest to god, I prefer this Kirkland's canned chicken in chicken salad, to the rotisserie.

I really don't know how to explain it. It is just absolutely perfect. The flavor, the texture, everything.

Amazon Customer: Garbage. I have to give one star so it will allow me to submit this. I usually buy this at Costco but couldn’t get it,so I went through Amazon. These cans through Amazon are not the same quality. The cans were badly damaged and mostly water. I have never seen anything like this before and I deal with.both companies on. Regular basis......what happened, also I want my money back. 39.67 is double the proper price.

Bonnie Sjoberg: Kirkland products are generally very high quality. Unfortunately this 6-pack arrived with two cans badly dented. Not sure if this occurred at point of sale or during transport. Disappointing.

KKL: I cannot give this five stars, not four and not even three. While my cans all arrived in good condition and not dented as some other reviewers experienced..There is a huge can full of water and not much chicken in the can. When you purchase tuna the can is packed full to the top, which is what I expected from this. The water (and a ton of it) is filled right to the top of the can with about 3/4 cup flaked meat soaking in the water. Very deceiving! Also I do not care for the taste it tastes similar to the cheaper brands of canned chicken. For this price I expected more bang for your buck. Usually Kirkland brand is above the rest, well not this time. I will not order this again. This is no where near worth the price you pay. ** only because this is all it's worth.

I love Vegas: You get 6 cans, not 12. The cost is ~$6/can, not ~$3 as quoted. (That error seems to have been corrected but not before I bought).
You can buy 2 packs of 6 cans (ie 12 cans) for $31.99 at Costco.ca.
I will definitely be returning it.

My Opinion: It’s alright. Don’t like how it has more water than chicken in the can. Otherwise, quality is okay. The real problem is in the price. The current listing reads: [$32.64 for Case of 6 at $2.72 per Can]. This is not accurate. The cost per can is double the quoted price. At $32.64 for 6 cans, it’s actually $5.44 a can. Should be 12 cans in a case, not 6, at that price! Misleading to say the least. I’m not going to buy this product again due to the price discrepancy in the listing. Consumers shouldn’t be tricked into making a purchase.

FYI: The quality of Kirkland canned chicken is the best I've found. The chicken is really white, thick, and delicious. There's easily enough meat per can for two hungry adults to share in a generous meal of chicken with rice and vegetables. It's convenient to order this staple on Amazon, especially for those coping with a limited diet and/or limited mobility.

Others have noted the poor condition of the cans; hopefully these are not inventory rejects. A few of the cans arrived extremely dented; I don't know how they became so ill-used, considering the careful packaging. This is a shame, because the chicken is excellent.
