HORMEL COMPLEATS Ready-to-Eat Rice & Chicken Entrée in a Microwave Tray

Dick Tenerelli: Quickie foods have come a long way. I like Hormel spaghetti & meat sauce, and I like their chicken + potatos. Takes about a minute to heat them up, but I give it an extra few seconds due to a small and underpowered microwave oven. Seriously, I could live on these easy and economical dishes. (Which taste good!)

Russ Rowe: To be honest, i wasn't expecting this to be as good as it is. For about $2 per portion, its a pretty good deal. Doesn't have to be refrigerated until opened. That was a plus. My freezer is pretty full already. And the taste is fairly decent too. Overall, a pretty good purchase and I would recommend this to everyone.

Kevin S. Morris: 2nd favorite out of all of the Hormel completes. The sauce is pretty rich, savory and slight tangy. Ill cook 2 of them to add together to give me 15 oz total and is excellent.

TTU Red Raider: As quick-to-fix, shelf-stable, and tasty meals, we generally like the Hormel Compleats products overall, so we tend to pick up our favorite varieties when any discount and/or coupon is offered, which also tends to make them pretty fair values, too.

The above notwithstanding, even though this particular chicken and rice meal is one of our favorites among the chicken-based products, with a very good taste and texture, it is somewhat lacking in actual chicken content. Our solution?---We simple toss in a handful of diced-up, leftover, deli rotisserie chicken to the meal, making it far more hearty than it would otherwise be. In a word, it's yummy!

JWF productions: I do like HORMEL COMPLEATS a lot. This dinner is not super high in protein (but still has a good amount) Spaghetti and meat sauce is one of my Hormel favorites.
