Cheri Ives: This is the first time I tried meringue powder rather than fresh egg whites to make Royal Icing, and it works really well and is much easier to work with and measure. The only downside was that I needed 3 large batches of icing and the amount didn't give me enough to make the 3rd batch, so I ended up using fresh egg whites for the 3rd one. I bought two bags this time so it won't happen again. I needed the 3 batches because I was mixing a number of colors in flood consistency and then needed another batch of stiff consistency. Some of you may be fine with the 11.4 oz. bag.

daniel clever: I’ve only used it once, it’s ok if u don’t have the time or interest in using egg whites. Next time I will use less water than recommended and hopefully stiffer peaks will form. If that works then I Will really like this product.
